Today we celebrate an extraordinary woman whose passion, dedication, and vision have helped shape the future of avian medicine, nutrition, conservation, and education.

As the co-owner of Harrison’s Bird Foods, Linda has been the driving force behind sharing decades of invaluable knowledge with the veterinary and bird-owning communities. From her work on the AAV Newsletter, to helping Dr. Greg Harrison author textbooks and peer-reviewed scientific articles, to serving as Editor of Exotic DVM Veterinary Magazine, and hosting the International Conference on Exotics, her influence has reached professionals and bird enthusiasts around the world.

She continues that mission today through her monthly Bulletin Bird newsletter, providing science-based education that empowers veterinarians, avian professionals, and bird owners to make better decisions for the health and well-being of their birds.

Never content to rest on past accomplishments, Linda started HARCC – the Harrison Avian Research & Conservation Collaboration, a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing avian research, education, and collaboration.

Linda’s legacy is measured not only by the countless articles, conferences, and educational resources she has created, but also by the thousands of birds whose lives have been improved because she believed that knowledge should be shared.

We love you, Linda, and thank you for your unwavering dedication to avian welfare, medicine, research, conservation, and education. Your passion continues to inspire us all.
