Happy Vet Tech Week to the incredible women who make up our Memphis and Nashville teams! ❤️

From navigating emotionally challenging cases to continually advancing their knowledge through continuing education, these women have dedicated their careers to providing exceptional care for our patients.

Their experience, compassion, and hard work are truly irreplaceable. We trust their judgment, value their expertise, and appreciate the dedication they bring to our hospitals every single day.

**Because of them, we're able to provide the same level of care we would expect for our own pets.**

We couldn't do what we do without them, and we're so grateful they're part of Apex Veterinary Surgery! ❤️

Meet sweet Chloe! 🐾💗 This beautiful girl came to us with a Salter-Harris IV fracture of her right lateral humeral condyle which was beautifully repaired by Dr. Atwood and his team of amazing nurses.

The surgery may be complete, but the hard work isn’t over yet! Now Chloe and her family begin the road to recovery, and we’ll be right there supporting them every step of the way. 💪🐶

A big thank you to VEG ER for Pets, Franklin TN for trusting us with this precious girl's care! 💕

🐾 TTA vs. TPLO: What's the Difference? 🐾
If your dog has been diagnosed with a torn cranial cruciate ligament (CCL), you've probably heard terms like TTA and TPLO—but what do they mean, and which procedure is best for your pet?
The answer isn't always one-size-fits-all. Factors such as your dog's size, activity level, anatomy, and overall health all play a role in determining the most appropriate surgical option.
Our latest blog breaks down:
✔️ What TTA and TPLO surgeries are
✔️ How each procedure works
✔️ The advantages and considerations of each option
✔️ How veterinary surgeons decide which procedure is right for an individual patient
We believe informed pet owners make confident decisions, and we're here to help you understand your dog's treatment options every step of the way.

A big thank you to Dr. Alexander with for trusting us with one of your sweetest patients.

Sheyann, Tillie's surgical scrub nurse was especially happy to see Tillie back for her recheck (as you can see 🥰), and we’re so thrilled to see her breathing easier and on the road to a smooth recovery! 🐾✨
