This pretty boy may have retired from the show pen, but apparently retirement around here just means a career change.

These days, he holds the very important title of resident babysitter and helps us wean the babies. Over the years, Gator, Smiley, Sue, Iceman, and Fahrenheit have all spent time under Fuegoโ€™s supervision.

Heโ€™s been invaluable when it comes to consoling the babies through the weaning process and gently teaching them a few manners along the way.

Weโ€™re not sure Fuego ever thought โ€œprofessional babysitterโ€ would end up on his rรฉsumรฉ, but turns out heโ€™s just perfect for it. ๐Ÿค

Little John is a good, seasoned, versatile horse that's been ridden, used, and prepared for whatever comes next. We 100% stand behind his versatility, and we're proud to put our name behind this gelding.

RR Crimson Dually "Little John" is a 6-year-old red roan gelding standing 14.2 hands tall, by Crimson Bet and out of Bingo With Grandma.

With $1,800 in NCHA earnings, he's proven himself in the cutting pen, including marking a 218 and finishing Reserve Champion at the Big Piney Open Futurity in Pinedale, Wyoming.

He's been used on the ranch to doctor cattle and drag calves to the fire. He's been started on the heel side and has all the tools to make an outstanding rope horse.
Little John has also been shown at the Western Heritage Classic Ranch Horse Association in Abilene, Texas, in Ranch Horse Versatility classes at the Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo, and at NRHA shows.

Outside of the arena, he's been trail ridden through the mountains of Colorado, Nevada, and Oregon, crossing logs, brush, creeks, and rugged terrain. Those miles have helped make him a confident, well-rounded horse that's comfortable in all kinds of situations.

He'll lope a reining pattern without a bridle, has a big stop, big turn, clean lead changes, great feet, and the kind of personality that makes him enjoyable to have around every day.

His pedigree is just as impressive.
Little John is by Crimson Bet (Metallic Cat ร— Bet Yer Blue Boons), a homozygous roan stallion whose dam has produced more than $1.28 million, including NCHA Open World Champion Bet Hesa Cat.

On the bottom side, he's out of Bingo With Grandma, an own daughter of Dual Pep and one of the cornerstone broodmares at Clint McDaniel Performance Horses. She has produced more than $32,000 in earners and comes from a maternal line with over $313,000 in earnings.
