🐶🎃"No tricks, only treats please!"🎃🐶 SLIM JIM

SLIM JIM has been at CCHS 1 year, 1 month.

SLIM JIM is a 4 year old mixed breed taken in as a lost dog on 9/10/25. Tall, fair and handsome, this guy has a warm gaze that will melt your heart. Slim Jim doesn't really make much of an impression one way or another when you meet him, but squeak a toy or show him a treat and he'll respond with cute head tilts or a mesmerizing gaze. Slim Jim is a strong walker who might make an excellent running or walking companion. He's well mannered and sat immediately for a treat, which he takes gently. Slim Jim's adoption fee is $150 and helps cover the cost of his neuter, vaccinations, worming, monthly flea and heart worm preventive, microchip and care while at CCHS. He weighs 68 lbs., but needs to put on a little weight.

This is TOMMY BOY, a 2 year old domestic short hair cat taken in as an injured, lost cat on 9/11/26. He had a deep tissue wound on his left back leg at intake which the finder noted had worsened gradually. We began antibiotics and therapeutic sugar wraps, but last week it was determined that Tommy Boy’s leg needed to be amputated. On Mon., he had his surgery and is doing well. We heard him purr for the first time! Tommy Boy’s recovery will take some time. He’ll have to get used to being an indoor only cat, but we think he’ll come around.

The cost of Tommy Boy’s amputation, $290, is not covered by our adoption fees. If you’re able to, we’d appreciate any assistance with his medical costs. Donations may be made online by clicking the donate button on our FB page or our website, www.claycohumanein.org or by mailing a check to: Clay Co Humane Society, PO Box 277, Brazil, IN 47834. Thank you!

🐶"Eloise is a dog who lives at the Clay Co. Humane Society in Indiana. She knows everything about the shelter. She is interested in people when they are not boring. She has Inner Resources. If you take her home with you, you will always be glad you did."🐶ELOISE (Adapted from Eloise by Kay Thompson)

ELOISE has been at CCHS 2 years, 6 months.

ELOISE is a 7 year old mixed breed taken in as a lost dog on 4/21/24. She has a great smile and an independent spirit. Eloise is a slow cooker, who might need a little time to warm up. Easily bored and sometimes particular, she's seeking exciting adventures that capture her imagination and keep her amused. Eloise's $75 adoption fee helps cover the cost of her spay, vaccinations, worming, monthly heart worm and flea preventive, microchip and care while at CCHS.
