Ran a few dogs at North Alabamas HRC test the past weekend.

In seasoned, Denali, owned by Jack Patty passed both days to earn her HR title on her first birthday.

In Finished: GRHRCH Rip MH, owned by John Tillman, ran and passed on Saturday, to officially earn his points for his GRHRCH title.

HRCH Remi, owned by Jarid Vickery, ran in Rip’s spot Sunday and passed.

HR Sully, owned by Pat Flynn, picked up his first tow Finished passes.

GRHRCH Maddie MH also passed Finished both days.

Also thankful that Mary was able to come run dogs with me this trip.

The 2026 Spring Grand in Kentucky is in the books.

Earning passes were:

GRHRCH(10) Hardy Lakes Chipotle Gump MH MNH, owned by Lonnie Burns, passed his 10th Grand.

GRHRCH Tillman’s Southern Ripper MH, owned by John Tillman, passed his second straight Grand earning his Grand title.

We had a couple of other dogs come very close and even lost one under some tough circumstances in the upland.

We ran West Central Minnesota Retriever Club’s Field Trial this weekend.

We had 2 dogs pick up JAMs in the Qualifying.

We ran Bay Area HRC’s Hunt Test this pass weekend.

Picking up passes in Seasoned were:

Sully, owned by Pat Flynn

Dixie, owned by Lance Griswood, passed Saturday earning her HR title.

Delta, owned by Lonnie Burns

Cannon, owned by Lonnie Burns

In Finished:

HRCH Coop MH, owned by Lance Griswood

HRCH Rebel, owned by Lance Griswood, passed both days to earn her HRCH title.

HRCH Chief MH QAA, owned by Luke Davis

HRCH Rip MH, owned by John Tillman

HR Splash, owned by Chris Smith

HR Star, owned by Lonnie Burns, passed on Sunday.

We ran Southwest Georgia Retriever Club and Tall Pines Retriever Club’s Double Derby/Qualifying over the weekend.

In the Southwest Georgia Qualifying:

HRCH Chief MH QAA, owned by Luke Davis received a JAM.

Happy QAA, also received a JAM

In the Tall Pines Qualifying:

Happy QAA placed 2nd in which now makes him QA2!
