Hello March!! Many of you may be wondering what the plan is for this season. I have really been working hard to make some necessary changes to the way I do lessons this year.
🐴As many of you know i work another job and have a very busy family to coordinate around. ✨️I have ultimately decided to do a Summer program (May- August) where most of the lessons are in small groups (3-4 kids) at a time on fridays.
✨️For the older kids i want to lengthen the lesson just a bit.
✨️ Payment will be a monthly rate due at the beginning of each month.
✨️Every month will have some sort of theme/ goal for what we are learning as we progress together through out the summer. Hopefully i can be organized enough to write out a calender for everyone so that you can see the plan each month. I actually do extensive lesson planning but often it remains in my head rather than onto paper 🤷‍♀️.
🥳At the end of August i would like to have a fun end of season bash with a campfire🔥. Please chime in with thoughts and requests, i would love to hear them! And finally, please comment on this post, PM, or text me if your child will doing my summer program So that ill have a spot! I look forward to teaching safe and quality horsemanship to your kiddos again soon!

☃️We are one week into our winter break and i am already missing everyone!!
🏆 on a lighter note, Our Wild M shodeo competitors had their awards banquete last night. They both received an award for being nominated and qualified.

Just incase ive missed someone, remember we're going to be taking a winter break this year for the cold months🥶 so we'll finish out november and start up again in March! Im excited to make the most of our last few weeks and if anyone would like to leave some end of season feedback/review on this page it would be greatly appreciated😘😘

Ive never loved a post more than this🙌
It is something that cant be simply taught, it must be your mission.

I don’t have soft hands.
But I’m working on it.

I’ve only met a handful of people who had soft hands-
They were masterful. I’ve studied their hands and their every move, and the common thread with all of them is that they were aware of their bodies and hands in absolutely everything they did.

A very common misconception people have is that their hands are soft- and this is dangerous because it means they are not aware of how often they mishandle their reins, lead rope, and equipment.

Having soft hands means having a stable seat, a centered mind, a soft heart. It is a lifetime endeavor, and the most honorable goal to work toward.

I don’t mind the work I need to put in to get there, but I know I am not there yet, because it is a limitless goal: you can never get soft enough.
