Big, beautiful Buddy is a buddy to all – he loves dogs of every shape and size, and is approved for kids 8 and up! This sweet, chonky boy needs a family who can hit the ground running with training to polish up his manners and leash skills, and a commitment to exercise and healthy eating to help him shed a few pounds. Luckily, Buddy’s an active guy who is always up for a game of fetch or a bracing swim. Find him a dock, and he’s ready to jump right in!

Working On: Leash walking. Practice will make perfect.
Enjoys: Playing with other dogs, but he wouldn't turn down a belly rub or two!

BIRK is as happy a pup as he is handsome. He greets people with exhuberance, but calms pretty quickly, especially if there is another young pup around demanding his attention. Birk is very energetic and loves roughhousing with his canine friends. He does know how to tone it down, though, if someone is needing a timeout. From his humans he's happy to take treats and belly rubs. And when playtime is over, Birk settles well, either inside or outside of his crate. He is trustworthy and does not get into mischief. He must go to a home with another dog, and that dog should be young, playful and ready to wrestle. An older dog may find him a tad too much. But for a loving family that is looking for companionship, love and fun, for themselves and their dog, Birk is just the right amount of wonderful.
