NEW BOARDERS: We are caring for Kevin's "Moto" & "Guzzi" while he is away visiting with family members. They are named after his super snazzy Italian motorcycle. All are worthy of immense admiration.

INTRODUCING: Welcome to "Fern" & "Faye", two new beautiful baby girls. These two are just as sweet as they can be. They are loving the rice bin and all things new. 🩷

Fern and Faye prefer a raw meat diet. Their adopter will be required to continue this feeding practice.

Welcome, ladies!

UPDATE: The Virginia Beach stray "Crunchy Wrap" (a.k.a. "Niffler") was picked up today by owner Taylor.

If you are missing your ferret please do your due diligence. Ferrets are escape artists and can scoot through the door as you're coming or going often without being noticed.

If you lose your ferret and you think it's gotten outside, please always check your local animal control, humane societies, ferret rescues, and apartment or town home complexes if you rent to put them on the alert. Don't rely on leaving voice messages as shelters are inundated with calls and messages. Shelters are understaffed. I can personally attest to the fact that we have about 50 adoption applications that we have not been able to process due to the lack of resources. Go to the local shelters in person. Continue to contact them until you get results. Don't take it personally. They want to help but they need you to help them.

You'll also want to place their bedding and their food just outside your door, in the event that they are still in the immediate vicinity. Put a blink or ring camera out to see if the ferret is coming around. If you don't have one, you can purchase one for $30 on Amazon.

Get your pet microchipped. If Niffler had a microchip he would have been returned immediately as opposed to waiting 2 months to get back home.

Niffler nearly lost his life because he could not find his way home. Don't let this happen to your pet!!!

INTRODUCING: Welcome to "Crunchy Wrap"! 😂 This baby boy comes to us from the Virginia Beach Animal Care & Adoption Center.

Crunchy Wrap was originally found as a local stray, thin and dehydrated. Now that he has chunked up, he is ready for his furever home. This far, he appears to get along with everyone else at the shelter. Anyone looking for a young companion?

Crunchy Wrap was named by Megan, a Virginia Beach Animal Care & Adoption Center volunteer. Thanks, Megan!

UPDATE: We recently received this message from a former adopter. We very much appreciate hearing what happens to the babies in our care years after they've been adopted. Knowing that they went to a forever home is very rewarding. Here's what Olivia sent ...

"Hello, I wanted to reach out to you and give you an update again. We got our ferrets from you four years ago. About a year after, our boy Casper passed away. Katana lived for three more years after, but recently passed away as well. I wanted to thank you for all of your help in getting our babies. We had never had ferrets before, but we educated ourselves and absolutely spoiled them. We hope to get more ferrets again some day in the future, but will probably wait until we can buy a house. We appreciate all that you do and hope we can adopt more furries eventually 🫶 "

Olivia, thank you for loving these babies and giving them a wonderful life. ❤️

SAVE THE MINK! Please consider supporting this cause to ban fur exploitation and spare these animals lives by signing this petition.

Mink, foxes, and other innocent animals raised and killed for their fur suffer in cramped cages before being bludgeoned, gassed, or electrocuted to death. Some are even skinned alive.

Your fuzzy will thank you for it.

Sign the petition urging Milan Fashion Week's organizer to adopt a formal fur-free policy for all official shows.

INTRODUCING: Welcome to "Airy", "Pocky" & "Gecko". These three boys came to us all the way from Asheville NC - a 6.5 hour drive, each way.

These boys are friendly and playful. The rice bin was an instant hit. Updates to follow after everyone gets some rest from their long journey.

Many thanks to Judy and Erika for transport. There's no limit to their kindness and generosity, always willing to help a fuzzy in need. We appreciate you!
