Social skills are skills we practice, too. 🐾
Three times a day, our dogs participate in **Social Hour**—intentional time dedicated to learning how to appropriately exist, communicate, and interact around other dogs.
The goal isn’t nonstop play. It’s helping dogs learn how to read social cues, respect boundaries, navigate different personalities, disengage when appropriate, and simply be comfortable sharing space with other dogs.
Some moments involve play. Some involve exploration. And sometimes the best social skill is learning that you don’t have to interact at all.
By giving dogs regular, structured opportunities to socialize, we can help them build confidence, improve communication, and develop better decision-making around other dogs.
Because good socialization isn’t about loving every dog you meet—it’s about knowing how to appropriately handle being around them.
