My name is Danielle Sigmon and I am the owner and operator of Dani the Dog Nanny. Let me tell you a little about myself. I grew up in a small town in Berwick, Maine. My love and passion for animals came at a very young age. My first pet was a little turtle, then a cute white kitten. Our family also had a few dogs in our lives and my love grew stronger. After high school I joined the US Navy and tr

aveled overseas. I enjoyed learning about life and different cultures. I then traveled around and stayed in a career of public service working for the Federal Government. After 30 years, my heart was pulling me to leave it all behind, move to our Finger Lakes retirement home and start my own dog walking, pet sitting and pet photography business. Update: After 4 years of absolutely loving my new business I decided to add daycare and boarding at my home 2 years ago. I decided that I would dedicate my time to only that, and no longer go out and about pet sitting. I still do the photography and also added supporting local weddings taking care of the couples dog needs. Mission Statement
Dani the Dog Nanny’s mission is to provide customers exceptional service in caring for their pets. Walking dogs, pet sitting and pet photography will be a wonderful experience for pets and pet owners. The services will exceed the expectations of customers through the company’s experience, loyalty and dependability.
