Luella and Xavi are definitely the sweetest pair together. Xavi is very tolerant of her antics and it's almost as if he knows she's fragile. He's gentle and kind, and just the bestest boy! Luella loves having the K9 interaction. ❤️
For those wondering about Nika... She is our correction Queen, and that's off limits with Luella's neck so sadly they have very limited interaction.

The prince has arrived!!! We are back home and the C-section went well. Stella is a bit out of it and wondering where this little guy came from. 🤣 Typical for C-sections. Once the anesthesia wears off, we'll be more settled. ❤️

Stella is giving us zero indications of going into labor. 🤷‍♀️ She's happy and official due date is tomorrow. She will be going to our vet tomorrow for a reverse progesterone test to determine a plan.

Today we received confirmation that Miss Stella is carrying only one puppy. Although we are bummed about this news, we are relieved to see the puppy appears to be small enough for Stella to handle on her own. We will be closely monitoring her as sometimes they will not go into labor when only 1 puppy is present. Her due date is Monday. 🙏🙏
