Ride number five for Umbra the Nokota filly at our facility for training. Her owner Amy has been partnering with trainer Staci Fornshell since March to be an active part of the process - we take things slow, we take our time and we listen to the horses. It shows in the rock solid ride and dismount🩷 Go Amy and Umbra!

Property long lining today for young Nokota Horse Umbra with owner Amy on the reins and trainer Staci as a safety person at her head. This work prepares her for her future job as a safe confident mount and partner for Amy! Hooray Umbra!
Umbra and Amy have been with us at the facility for a couple of months working together with the guidance and support of Staci in our Perfect Partners program where owners take a very active role in the day to day work with their horses.
