My face doesn't show it, but I l am joyful to learn that I have officially entered the Permanent Paws program.

I get to stay with my foster mum and dad furever and ever. I love them so much already. Senior Hearts will continue to take care of all of my geriatric medical needs, especially my fickle belly.

Hey it's me Nino.

I have some great news. See I have Cushing's disease, a mass on my liver, and gallbladder issues. My internal medicine doctor at Safe Haven Veterinary Hospital manages this stuff for me. I recently had my blood checked. It seems I am doing better than the good doctor thought possible! I'm thankful for all the good care and happy that I can keep on being a terrier with my mum and dad and little yorkie brother.

Keep your old dogs with their old hearts and old lungs inside.

I had a recheck with the good internal specialist doctor for my IBD, inflammatory bowel disease. It may have taken 5 people to hold me still, but she was able to do a recheck ultrasound. I'm a wiggly little thing!

On a good note, I am now at an appropriate weight. On a bad note, my small intestine is still broken. The good doctor lady is starting me on one more medicine. Good thing my foster mum and dad can keep track of my special feedings and all of my medicine.
