VMC Animal Blood Bank Canine and feline friends helping save the lives of your beloved pets, one unit of blood at a time! Vaccines as per AAHA recommendations included annually.

If your pet meets the following requirements please reach out! Canine Donors
1-8 years of age, never bred, weigh >50 pounds
Healthy (no diseases/medications, on heartworm, flea & tick preventative)
Friendly, easy to restrain, no aggression
Up to date on vaccinations
No prior transfusions
Able to donate every 2 months (6/year for a minimum of 2 years)

Feline Donors
1-8 years of age, never bred, we

igh >10 pounds
Healthy (no diseases/medications, on heartworm, flea & tick preventative)
Friendly, easy to restrain, no aggression
Up to date on vaccinations
Indoor only
No prior transfusions
Able to donate every 2 months (6/year for a minimum of 2 years)

Donor Benefits:
Free annual Heartgard and Nexgard, free annual bloodwork and infectious disease testing. Blood products at no charge when needed in the future.

Gabo is a Golden Retriever with the sweetest temperament who truly has never met a stranger. He lives with his mom, dad, two cat siblings, Marlin and Mack, and even has a horse sibling, Jeter, who he loves visiting and hanging out with at the barn. When he’s not playing fetch, swimming, or going on adventures, he’s always looking for belly rubs and making new friends. Gabo is super excited to become one of our canine blood donor and gets the opportunity to help save the lives of other dogs!

Raven is a gentle, sweet, inquisitive Maine C**n. She likes to play with her little brother Griffin, a daily highlight for sure. Raven enjoys taking easy naps in the sun, birdwatching and spending time with her family. Raven feels she’s responsible for the entire house and keeps a good eye on everything, nothing gets past her. She appreciates the care she receives at VMC and now wants to give back to the feline community!

Nala is a 3-year-old dog who is loving, gentle, and always ready to help. She was rescued by the Humane Society as a puppy, and one of our technicians adopted her when she was 3 months old, giving her the loving forever home she deserves.

Now, Nala is becoming a blood donor, giving other dogs a chance at life when they need it most. With every donation, she reminds us that heroes come with four paws and that a second chance can become an opportunity to save many more lives.
