VMC Animal Blood Bank Canine and feline friends helping save the lives of your beloved pets, one unit of blood at a time! Vaccines as per AAHA recommendations included annually.

If your pet meets the following requirements please reach out! Canine Donors
1-8 years of age, never bred, weigh >50 pounds
Healthy (no diseases/medications, on heartworm, flea & tick preventative)
Friendly, easy to restrain, no aggression
Up to date on vaccinations
No prior transfusions
Able to donate every 2 months (6/year for a minimum of 2 years)

Feline Donors
1-8 years of age, never bred, weigh >10 pounds
Healthy (no diseases/medications, on heartworm, flea & tick preventative)
Friendly, easy to restrain, no aggression
Up to date on vaccinations
Indoor only
No prior transfusions
Able to donate every 2 months (6/year for a minimum of 2 years)

Donor Benefits:
Free annual Heartgard and Nexgard, free annual bloodwork and infectious disease testing. Blood products at no charge when needed in the future.

Meet Max! This good boy is a handsome German Shepherd with a heart of gold. Adopted from SWFL-GSD Rescue by his mom, an ICU nurse, and her family, he settled right into his forever home with the loyalty and devotion that Shepherds are known for.
A gentle giant and huge sweetie, Max loves meeting new people. He especially loves to hold hands and is known for offering his big paw. Whether he’s saying hi to the neighbors on a walk or curling up after a good game of tug of war, Max brings a whole lot of love and joy wherever he goes. Max is happy to have the opportunity and privilege to help other dogs in need.
