Lemmy - NW3 Elite!
What a ride! This dog is not for the faint of heart. He has pushed me to my limits on many occasions with his high level of independence and intelligence. The past two years have been a roller coaster with some very low lows. But, as many people know, I don’t give up very easily.
Today we worked as a team through some very difficult odor problems. He was patient with me when I didn’t trust him and asked him to re-work areas he had cleared. In the end it all came together!
Huge thank you to everyone who has guided us and worked with us over the years, particularly when his behavior was at its worst.
Here’s to success in elite and staying one step ahead of Ozzy! 😉

Class Registration is OPEN!! This fall we are back to offering an early (6 pm) and a late (7:15 pm) Intro to K9 Nose Work and Intro to Odor class! Definitely something for everyone’s schedule!

Team Ozzy had some fun in Leadville today! We earned our NW2 title with an overall Pronounced, 2nd place overall, and 1st place in Interiors. Super proud of my derpy puppy! He’s growing up and we will be working on logging more trial experience before moving into NW3.

Team Bozeman K9NW rocking it at 10,000 feet in Leadville, Colorado! 🔥Team Hank placed 1st in exteriors and 2nd in the vehicle search!! 🔥Team Lemmy took 2nd in exteriors and placed 4th overall, picking up a leg towards their final NW3 title! We are all looking forward to playing again tomorrow!!

Congratulations to Regina Locricchio for completing her Score Room Lead Training (all trial levels) for National Association of Canine Scent Work! Regina has worked hard over the past couple years, volunteering her time at trials to complete her training. At the same time, working to trial a dog at the NW3 level. Not an easy thing to do! Huge congratulations to Regina! Did the Regina in this photo know she’d be a future Score Room Lead??!! Or that she would reach internet fame with the cow picture??!!
