🐾 Friday Spotlight: Juniper! 🐾

Meet Juniper, a 2.5 year-old Golden Retriever who has been part of our Dog Dayz family since November 2024! Juniper is one of our familiar daycare faces, joining us nearly every week and bringing plenty of smiles, energy, and goofy moments along with her! ✨

Juniper’s best friends are Bernie, Hucklegus, and Bowie, but she’s always happy to make room for another friend, especially a fellow Golden Retriever! Whether she’s running around the yard, wrestling with her buddies, or dropping into one of her signature play bows to get the fun started, Juniper is always ready for a good time. And if there’s a pool out, you can bet she’ll be nearby!

Juniper also loves joining in on our daycare activities! She’s a superstar on agility days and loves showing off her skills as she makes her way through the obstacles. Hikes and enrichment are other favorites, and she’s always excited for another opportunity to get out, explore, and try something new! 🌲

Of course, we can’t talk about Juniper without mentioning her goofy side! She’s always making us laugh with her silly faces, playful antics, and signature move of flopping onto her back, paws in the air, asking for belly rubs!

Juniper has been such a wonderful addition to our daycare family over the past two years. Her playful personality, goofy antics, and love for life make every day with her a little brighter. We’re so happy to have you as part of the crew, Juniper! 🐾💕

🧙‍♀️🪄 Potions Class is in session! Our little witches and wizards were busy brewing up some Halloween fun, sniffing out treats, and discovering a little magic in their cauldrons! 🎃🐾✨

Bubble, Bubble, Toil & Trouble! 🪄🐾

Our daycare pups were under a bubbly spell! ✨With bubbles floating all around, there was plenty of chasing, jumping, popping, and a little bit of mischief! 🫧🐶

Our costume contest runs October 26–30—we can’t wait to see your pups dressed for the occasion! 👻

✨Employee Spotlight: Lily! 🐾

Join us in celebrating Lily’s 2-year anniversary at Dog Dayz! 💛Lily joined our team in October 2024 and has become a familiar face to plenty of pups and parents over the last two years!

As our Kennel Operations Lead, Lily spends a lot of her time right in the middle of the action. From group management and boarding care to activities, hikes, and everything else that comes with a busy day of dogs, she’s always ready to jump in and help keep things moving. ⚡️She has a special knack for keeping her groups calm and collected, along with getting some pretty impressive group sits! 🐾

Of course, Lily has a pup of her own who’s become a familiar face around Dog Dayz too—her Golden Retriever, Oakley! 💛🐾

When she’s not busy with the pups, Lily is busy working toward the skies! ✈️ She’s pursuing her multi-engine pilot license through the MSU Aviation Program, with the ultimate goal of becoming a firefighter pilot. 🔥

Happy 2 years, Lily! Thank you for all the hard work, laughs, and care you’ve given our pups over the last two years. We’re happy to have you as part of the Dog Dayz crew! 💙🐾

🐾 Friday Spotlight: Koda! 🐾

Meet Koda, a 6.5 year old Border Aussie mix who has been coming to Dog Dayz since September 2024! A frequent face for both daycare and boarding, Koda has definitely made an impression around here. With his handsome dark brown coat, adorable ears, and big personality, he’s pretty hard not to love! 💙

Koda can best be described as spunky, cuddly, and adventurous! He loves getting outside and exploring the trails on a good hike, usually finding the perfect stick to carry along the way. Add some snow and he’s even happier! ❄️ He’s also a big fan of the water and never passes up an opportunity to splash around. Through a few leg injuries and even surgery, Koda has persevered and always manages to bring that adventurous spirit along with him. 🥰

When it’s time for group play, Koda knows how to bring the fun! Whether it’s a game of chase, a good wrestle, or some pool time, he loves having his pals by his side. May, Roxi, Zar, Juniper, Huck, and Baker are just a few of the friends he’s made during his time with us! 🐾

We’ve loved getting to know Koda over the past two years and getting to be part of all his daycare days, boarding stays, and adventures along the way. Dog Dayz just wouldn’t be quite the same without that Koda personality! 🐾💙

🐾 Friday Spotlight: Biscuit! 🐾

Meet Biscuit, AKA Mister Biscuit, an almost 3-year-old long-haired Chihuahua who has been boarding with us at Dog Dayz for the past two years! 💙 Between his adorable little snout, signature snarky side-eye, fluffy tail held high, and unmistakable little strut, Mister Biscuit has no shortage of personality—and we absolutely adore him for it!

One of Biscuit’s favorite places to be is the Littles Lounge! Playing with his stuffed toys is a number-one priority—complete with the cutest little play growls. He also loves keeping busy with a variety of our enrichment puzzles!

Biscuit likes to take his time getting to know new people, but a few treats, some time outside, and a little patience go a long way toward winning him over. Once you’re one of his people, he’ll happily follow you around the yard waiting for his next round of cuddles and even sneak in a few kisses. 🥰

On his more adventurous days, he’ll wander around saying hello to other pups, participate in our enrichment activities, and occasionally surprise us with a case of the zoomies! He’s even been known to find the occasional playmate, like fellow Chihuahua Puni, who could sometimes convince Mister Biscuit to join in on a little playtime. 🐾

It’s been so much fun watching Biscuit grow more comfortable and confident over the past two years. We’re so lucky to have Mister Biscuit as part of the Dog Dayz family! 🐾💙

Our daycare pups took a trip back to the 70’s yesterday for a totally groovy dance party! There were disco balls, funky shades, and plenty of pups ready to boogie. 🕺🐾
