Put another cast win on Karma. 550+ with no minus in 1 hr hunt. I was worried about how she was going to look coming out of heat but she did just fine. Late round she was trying to be miss independent and eventually did come in to tree after we were there that had a c**n. She tried treeing it a few times but wouldn't commit to it. Only c**n in cast was a rough late round. Should have been her 5th to make NITECH.

Hay got mail today! I've cost her more than I'd like to admit but we finally got it done.

Well it was a pretty good weekend for the kennel. I got two dogs qualified for the world. Karma was high scoring dog at RQE in 90 min hunt had 375 plus no minus.

Well the little Hay female stayed out of trouble and held increadible amount of pressure to stay treed on 3 circles a rock pile and two big Ole dens in first dump while dogs were treed around her and she didn't take any minus. She was down as dogs had c**n when we left that property by 150. Hay does what she does gets in 300 yards and gets struck first luckily and works a tough one for a long time several minutes through a slough. (shes been swimming folks this little dog is getting tougher to beat) She gets in 800 I let her settle in and shes got a c**n first crotch of a big Ole beast of a tree. First and first no more c**n seen some minus taken again by others should have been more that were treed when walking to Hay. This should have been her last win needed for GRNITECH and it was a Slam Qualifier so the little dog won us our entries back finished and quality for the world again. Karma just took too long to grub a tough track and had the c**n in the end that all the rest of the dogs quit no minus but only had the one c**n to two by cast winner. My plan is to bring her to another RQE tonight so we will see... Congratulations to my little Hay it was a road and this should have happened a year likely two sooner if I wouldn't have had the loss of Bailey where she sat in Kennel while I sorted all that out in my mind and the heart scare where I didn't hunt much that year either.

Well Hay looked nice tonight went 3 for 3. Her pup Tank was opening on track and did some treeing. He seems like hes gona have a nice big bawl mouth on track which makes me happy. He's coming along nicely and will hopefully make it. Karma was split with one of her own and made two trees with Hay. Nice when all 4 trees u walk to have eyes looking down.

Hay had three c**n and a den tonight. I also moved in too quick and would have got myself minused in a hunt when she was trying to lay one up... She ultimately ended up having it when i let her work it forever. When i got to her she was bouncing around on her back legs with head up trying to figure it out acting treeed but not on a tree. She did not sound quite right but tonight was my first time with her out this spring she reminded me how i need to hunt the hair off her to remeber all her barks or she will get ya minused in a hurry especially if ur not patient and try and call her like most dogs. Which can come in handy in a hunt if she's grabbing a hard track and people try and call ur dogs locate.
One thing is certain we are both out of shape!
