EQUINE HEALTH ALERT – Howard County, Maryland

On October 5, the Equine Disease Communication Center (EDCC) shared that the Maryland Department of Agriculture had confirmed two equine disease cases at two different locations in Howard County, Maryland: Equine Herpesvirus – Respiratory (EHV-4) and Equine Herpesvirus – Respiratory (EHV-1)

The vaccination status of these horses is unknown.

Nothing like having your mom give you a good back scratch after a night of playing in mud puddles 😃. Stella is the best momma. The perfect combination of attention and discipline. This creates a confident but not pushy foal. I love letting them stay a family as long as possible. He gets to touch and know his momma more than most. Just feels right…

Drum roll, please 🥁 The 2027 US Dressage Test score sheets are now available online!

These tests will take effect December 1, 2026, and will be utilized through November 30, 2030. Start learning and reviewing the new tests at the link below!
