Hey everyone. ❤️
As many of you know, The Perfect Housekeepers has not been accepting bookings since November. This was due to some major life changes, and over the last several months, I’ve been trying to navigate what has honestly felt like a complete change in my life—and figure out who I am again through all of it.
After a lot of thought, I’ve come to the conclusion that The Perfect Housekeepers will be closed indefinitely.
That is incredibly hard for me to say because this business will always be a piece of me. I built it, I poured my heart into it, and it taught me more than I could ever put into words. I still have hope that maybe one day The Perfect Housekeepers—or perhaps something even bigger and better—will come back into my life.
Right now, I work a full-time job, and my son and I are happy and flourishing. I also plan to start school in the spring. I originally planned to go sooner, but life happened—as it tends to do—and I’ve learned that sometimes our plans change without our dreams having to change with them.
I am a fighter. I am a survivor. I have a lot of heart, and I have a lot of hope for life and for people. Sometimes that heart can get the best of me, but I don’t ever want to lose that part of myself.
Closing this chapter has been a huge sacrifice and a huge change for me. The Perfect Housekeepers completely changed the way I see work, business, and what it means to be an entrepreneur. And one thing I know for certain is that I will always be an entrepreneur at heart. That’s a part of me that isn’t going anywhere.
I miss every single one of my clients. I miss every single one of the fur babies I was lucky enough to love and care for. I miss the life that came along with running my own business, and yes, I miss having more time with my son.
But life happens, and I’m not going to stop living it.
I’m going to keep moving forward, keep growing, keep dreaming, and keep building the future that I know I am capable of creating for myself and my son.
To every person who booked with me, trusted me in their home, trusted me with their animals, recommended my business, shared my posts, supported me, encouraged me, or played any part in making The Perfect Housekeepers what it became—thank you.
You helped me build something that I will always be proud of.
Maybe one day you’ll see The Perfect Housekeepers again.
Or maybe you’ll see me come back with something even better. ❤️
Until then, thank you for everything.
