🐴💙 VOLUNTEERS MAKE THE MAGIC HAPPEN! 💙🐴

New Beginnings Therapeutic Riding is looking for some amazing people to join our volunteer family! ❤️

You don't have to be a horse expert to make a difference. Whether you're leading a horse, walking alongside a rider, helping around the barn, or simply offering encouragement, your time can help change someone's life.

Come experience the joy, the horses, the laughter, and the incredible moments that happen when people come together to make a difference. 💙

📍 600 Bill Ferguson Rd., Bowling Green, KY 42101
(Please use Google Maps for directions)

📞 RSVP to Lesley at 270-777-3600 (text)

We would love for you to become part of the New Beginnings family! 🫶🐎

No experience? No problem! We can teach you what you need to know—just bring a willing heart! ❤️

Sometimes a picture says what words simply can’t. ❤️🐴

At NBTR it’s about so much more than riding a horse.

It’s about connection.

Trust.

Confidence.

Communication.

And those quiet moments between a participant and a horse that can mean more than we may ever know.

Our horses meet each participant exactly where they are — whether that means carrying them around the arena or simply standing quietly beside them.

These are the moments that remind us why NBTR exists. ❤️

🐴 New Beginnings Therapeutic Riding
Changing lives… one ride, one connection, one moment at a time.

💙💛 A HUGE THANK YOU to the Knights of Columbus! 💛💙

We are incredibly grateful to the Knights of Columbus for their generous grant of $1,500 to New Beginnings Therapeutic Riding! 🐴❤️

🌡️ WE ARE SO SORRY! 💔

We are truly sorry to have to cancel our classes. We know many of you were looking forward to spending the day with us, and we were looking forward to seeing all of you, too. Unfortunately, with the extreme heat, the safety of our people, volunteers, families, and especially our animals has to come first. ❤️🐴

Please take this heat seriously today! Stay hydrated, take plenty of breaks, seek shade or air conditioning, and keep an eye on your pets and livestock.

☀️ Signs of overheating in people can include:
• Heavy sweating
• Dizziness or weakness
• Headache
• Nausea or vomiting
• Confusion or unusual behavior
• Hot, flushed skin

🐾 Watch your pets closely, too! Heavy or excessive panting, drooling, weakness, vomiting, confusion, stumbling, or collapse can all be signs of heat illness and require immediate attention.

Please make sure your animals have plenty of fresh, cool water, shade, and a place to escape the heat. Remember that if it's too hot for you to comfortably be outside, it may be too hot for them, too. ❤️

Thank you so much for understanding our decision to cancel. We hate disappointing our community, but nothing is more important than keeping everyone safe.

Stay cool, stay hydrated, and take care of yourselves and your four-legged family members! 🐴🐶🐱💦

We hope to see you all very soon! ❤️
