Some bonds change your life quietly.

Happy National Dog Mom’s Day to the women who have loved their dogs through puppy stages, gray faces, hard days, healing days, and everything in between.

How lucky we are to share our lives with them. 🤍

Not your typical patient check-in.

The Mandalorian stopped by DCES today with Grogu… and we’re still trying to figure out, is he a dog or a cat?

Either way, we’re ready for anything around here.

May the Fourth be with you! 💫

Happy CSR Week! 💛

In honor of Veterinary Receptionist Week, this week at DCES is all about our CSRs.

They are the calm in high-pressure moments, the steady voice on the other end of the line, and the people helping guide each day forward.

This role isn’t easy, and it doesn’t go unnoticed.

This week, we celebrate them. 🐾

If you’ve ever interacted with our CSR team, feel free to drop a message below. We’d love to share the appreciation.

What you’re seeing here is focus, precision, and compassionate care in real time.

When asked what drives him, David put it simply:

“At the end of the day, this work is about showing up for animals when they need it most. That responsibility means everything to me.”

This is the standard our team carries.
Every patient. Every time. 🐾

Behind every patient we care for is a team working together.

Asking questions.
Sharing ideas.
Making sure nothing is missed.

Because your pet deserves more than one perspective. They deserve a team.

Dr. Gillem and Dr. Klippen in action.

This is what care looks like at DCES.

A little luck, a lot of charm, and plenty of love for our patients. 🍀 Happy St. Patrick’s Day from DCES! 🐾

Daylight Saving Time starts this weekend!

While we lose an hour of sleep, our pets may notice the shift in routine too. Dogs and cats rely heavily on consistent schedules for meals, walks, and sleep, so even a one-hour change can feel confusing at first.

The good news? Most pets adjust within a few days. A few small routine adjustments can help make the transition smoother for everyone. 🐾

Today, we wore red to support women's heart health awareness ❤️

Cardiovascular disease remains one of the leading causes of death in women, and we’re proud to stand together in support of prevention, education, and care.

For our communities and each other.

As winter weather approaches, it’s important to keep a close eye on your pets. Cold temperatures, limited outdoor time, and changes in routine can sometimes worsen underlying conditions or cause subtle changes that are easy to miss.

A few reminders to help keep your pets safe during a snowstorm❄️:

• Limit time outdoors in extreme cold
• Wipe paws after walks to remove ice melt and salt
• Trust your instincts if something doesn’t seem right

Our team is here 24/7 to provide careful monitoring and support, no matter the weather. 🐾
