Since I was away during prime bed refreshing days I got out there today to top of some beds with my compost blend.

This bed hasn't been topped off yet but I had to stop and admire what's already there.

Planning out my zen garden at the new home was slow and steady.

I've removed a lot of dead shrubs and hydrangeas to create my own space.

This side wasn't much aside this tree and holly.

I collected free stones and bricks to create this look you see in the video.

With the help of grant funds I was able to build out this space for a native, pollinator, tea and cut flowers garden.

But before it got here this was beginning.

Time to cut this crimson down. I'm a little but this was the day I had open to get it done. Got outside at 7 this morning.

Since most of the early spring natives are dying off I decided to give our yard it's 1st cut of the season.

Yall some spots where over 5 inches tall.

I tried my best to get it all done but that rear yard was a monster 😆 🤣 😂 😹

Thanks to my pops for teaching me these chores as a kid.
