We had very cold temps last night, but I’m over here harvesting flowers! We did an experiment to force tulips early by growing them protected in bulb crates and look what we got! I harvested these beauties today. Ready to get to work back out in the field!

Did a little wreath workshop for some teachers at my sons elementary school. They just paid a little for wire and the base and I donated my time and all the materials. They have such a hard job with a low budget and I know we as parents are so appreciative of all they do. ❤️ It was a really nice time!

We had a great event with our florists this week to show behind the scenes farm operations, talk about their businesses, and plan our future crops around their needs. This type of collaboration is what makes our business, at Central Maryland Flower Connection, unique and effective. ❤️

Bonnie (our senior alpaca) says you should come see us this Saturday 8-12 at the Crofton Farmers Market! Check out these calla lilies and cool zinnias I’ll be using this week in our arranged bouquets from the farm!

I’ll also have long stem fresh herb arrangements with rosemary and basil. These are great scented centerpieces for the kitchen or on the table (and can be used to cook)!
