Dash Hounds We love dog sports! We have a private FastCAT-style track that we open up to the public when we can. FastCAT is a type of lure coursing.

Watch some YouTube videos on it, and you'll see how fun it is! We are super excited to bring this sport to Bowie.

A very welcome update today. We finally have a break in the weather. THE DASH HOUNDS TRACK WILL BE OPEN TOMORROW, SUNDAY, ALL DAY!

Please give a call or text to 971-287-0530 to let me know what time you're coming. Honk your horn so I know you've arrived.

I only allow one dog on the track at a time. If you bring multiple dogs and want to run them all together, that is also allowed. Don't forget to sign the waiver when you come onto the track, be safe and HAVE FUN!

A small fee of $3/dog is appreciated but not necessary.

We had a great turnout yesterday and a lot of dogs, and owners, had a blast- whether they chased the lure or just ran around on the track, it was exciting to see the spark in their eyes. Thank you to everyone who came out, and thank you for your donations!

DASH HOUNDS will be open for people to come run their dogs this weekend, May 16-17, 2026

We are located at 2670 Highway 81N, Bowie, TX 76230. Call or text me at 971-287-0530 to set up a time to run!
We ask for a small donation of $3 per dog. This helps maintain equipment and grounds. Any extra donations go into a fund to help local pet owners with spay/neuter costs. We're not a 501(c) (3), but we are a non-profit.

NOTE- This is a private FastCAT track- I am not a company nor a professional lure coursing business. I'm just trying to help the community give their dogs an outlet to run. Heck, if your kids need an outlet, they can chase the lure in a 100-yard sprint, too đŸ˜€

Dash Hounds will not be running dogs today due to the weather. We hope everyone came through the storm safely and with no damage.

I will open the track one day this coming week if the weather cooperates. I'll update this page when I know more.

Our next Fun Run day will be April 25/26, weather permitting. I will try to hold an evening Fun Run sometime during the week as well before that date. Hope to see y'all out there!

We ran a FastCAT in Celina, TX, last Saturday. It was wet and slick from overnight thunderstorms, but the rain held off for most of the day. Here's a clip!
