Some new additions to the stand. Kale is in as are the first sugar snap peas of the season! Additionally, we have big, healthy, certified organic tomato starts ready to go. These are the same beefsteak and cherry varieties we grow on the farm. They are the best we’ve found for west of the cascades.

All stocked up for the weekend. Open anytime during daylight hours.

Certified organic asparagus & rhubarb from Living Rain Farm in Mt Vernon now available at the stand! John Devries is one of the best growers around and these are his only two crops, which should tell you something about how amazing they are. Stop by and pickup a little springtime magic.

I am unfortunately not a good enough photographer to properly capture what a kick ass job at is doing designing and executing the farm stand garden. You should come check it out yourself!

Spiffed up the stand with some repurposed pavers, kiwi crates and a leaky old stock tank modified to planters, and a solid old sliding door from a demoed dairy parlor down the road.

Stop by and check out what’s available. We are well stocked, especially for April, that most in between month of the year. Veggies, tons of eggs, and even some sugar snap pea starts to get your garden going.

A seasonal special just delivered by !! The only thing better than fermented food is wild harvested food. Put the two together and you’re golden. This delicious concoction is available now at the farm stand but won’t be around for long. You’ll also find other varieties of delicious kraut, all expertly handmade by Kirsti, as well as her wonderful beet kvass.

A great thing about winter farmers markets is that you can load the van the night before and then hit snooze, drink your coffee like it’s not a race, etc. in the morning while still getting on the road on time.

Tomorrow marks the first of four winter markets for the at the Depot in Anacortes. We will be there from 9-2 with pork, chicken, lamb and a spread of the veggies you see here.

Word is that there may also be a soft roll-out of the first ever Well Fed Farms salami. You’ll have to come out and check it out though ;)

It’s a beautiful day for a farmers market! I will be at the Lake Forest Park farmers market today from 10 to 2. Come on down to the 3rd Place Commons parking lot and stock of on veggies, eggs, pork, chicken, lamb, and more.

Fresh salad mix at the farmstand. Not bad for going on December!

We are fully stocked up and open. Please be advised that Sam Bell Road is closed off Chuckanut drive though. To get here, just take the Cook Road exit off I5, then a quick right on Pulver Road and a left onto Sam Bell. There is a road closed sign, but you can go around it to get to the farm without risking any floodwaters.
