An Update on the Pregnant Mama ❤️

First, thank you to everyone who stepped up to help us raise the funds to save the pregnant mama and her babies. Your generosity meant so much!
Unfortunately, after learning we had secured the funding, her owners decided not to surrender her.
We have emailed everyone for whom we have an email address, but we also wanted to share this update here to make sure we reach everyone who donated.
We are happy to refund your donation or, with your permission, put it toward Bobby (now Frankie), a former breeding daddy who is battling cancer and heartworm disease. His veterinary care is currently estimated at nearly $5,000, with additional cancer treatment potentially needed.
You can read Bobby's story here (scroll down to find him):
https://www.rmfbr.org/home/roadhome/
If you would prefer a refund, please let us know by 7 PM tomorrow, October 22. Otherwise, we'll gratefully put your generosity toward helping Bobby receive the care he needs.
Thank you again for opening your hearts to a mama in need. Although things didn't turn out as we'd hoped, your kindness can still make a tremendous difference for another Frenchie. ❤️

Poppy’s story began in a Los Angeles shelter where she was scheduled for euthanasia, facing severe chronic ear disease, untreated medical issues, and cancer. Despite fighting for her life through unimaginable neglect, this resilient girl didn't let her past harden her.

Instead, she became softer, greeting her people with full-body wiggles and following them quietly from room to room.

Despite everything she’s been through, Poppy is sweet, gentle, and full of life. She loves slow walks to sniff the world, cozying up beside you, and happily chewing on her favorite toys for hours.

Now, Poppy is ready for her forever home! While her foster home provides daily love, routine, and comfort, she requires ongoing medical care, including daily eye drops for low tear production, continued ear care, and routine oncology follow-ups after successfully having multiple mast cell tumors removed.💙

Help us give Poppy the bright, cherished chapter she deserves.

Mama update: we have accepted her and are currently awaiting surrender form and photos.

We have been asked to bring in a pregnant mama.
❗️We need $5k by tonight to save her❗️
We have until this evening to do so. But it's not fair to anyone unless we have the funding for her c-section. And we've had so many heavy bills as of late.
