Front Range Freedom Rescue

Front Range Freedom Rescue is a non-profit, foster-based rescue located throughout the Denver Metro.

Our mission focuses primarily on the rescue and rehoming of homeless cats, primarily through transfer from rescues in New Mexico, Kansas, and other areas where pet overpopulation has reached critical levels. Our goals are to rehabilitate these animals through good nutrition, expert veterinary care, and socialization in loving foster homes.

60 families. More than 150 vaccines. 28 microchips. One incredible day for our community! 🐾💉

Last Sunday, we hosted a free community vaccine and microchip clinic at Elevated Communities Cat Cafe in Longmont, Colorado. From happy pups showing their gratitude to our volunteers with snuggles to the incredible team working behind the scenes, these photos capture just a little of what made the day so special.

The response to our FREE Community Vaccine Clinic has been incredible, and we're excited to share that we've added additional appointment times!

A huge thank you to Dr. Annelise Cummings of Spay & Neuter for joining our veterinary team. Her generosity allows us to offer even more appointments to help pets in our community.

📣 Kitten Shower Alert: Shawn Is Trying His Best 🍼🐱

Shawn thought fostering kittens would be all cuddles and naps.

Instead, he's supervising zoomies, managing chaos, answering questions from tiny orange coworkers, and wondering how he became responsible for so many children.

This summer, help us prepare for kitten season at our Kitten Shower, hosted by our friends at Elevated Communities Cat Cafe as part of their Summer Family Fest this Saturday 6/27 with sessions starting at 5:30pm & 7:00pm.

Every year, Front Range Freedom Rescue welcomes kittens of all ages and backgrounds into foster care. From newborn bottle babies to growing kittens waiting for adoption, they all rely on supplies like formula, food, litter, enrichment, and medical care to get the best possible start.

🌱 Meet Lucas 🌱

As a bean grows, it becomes a shoot. Stronger than before, but still relying on support to keep reaching toward what's next.

Today, we're introducing our third partnership level: Bean Shoot Partner.

Bean Shoot Partners help support diagnostics, specialized treatment, and ongoing care for animals facing medical challenges on their journey to recovery.

One of those animals was Lucas Scott.

Lucas first came into rescue as a kitten after being identified through a TNR effort conducted by one of our rescue partners. Like so many community cats, his future was uncertain.

Then he was diagnosed with FIP.

After completing treatment, Lucas faced another obstacle when he relapsed and needed to begin treatment again. Recovery wasn't a straight line, but Lucas wasn't ready to give up.

Today, Lucas is an FIP survivor and a reminder that healing sometimes takes more than one chance.

His journey is a testament to resilience, perseverance, and the power of continued support when animals need it most.
