Temporarily Closed
This is, without a doubt, one of the hardest posts I’ve ever had to write.
After a lot of tears, prayers, and soul-searching, I’ve made the heartbreaking decision to temporarily close Pretty Paws due to health issues that are beyond my control.
I have owned and operated Pretty Paws since September 2, 2007. For nearly two decades, this business has been so much more than a job—it has been my dream, my passion, and a huge part of who I am. I’ve had the privilege of caring for so many incredible pets and getting to know the wonderful families who trusted me with them. Those relationships and memories are something I will always treasure.
I’ve fought as hard as I could to keep going because this business means everything to me. I truly believed I could push through, but I’ve reached a point where I have to listen to my body. As difficult as it is to admit, my health has to come first.
Please know this is not goodbye. My dreams for Pretty Paws haven’t disappeared—they’re simply on hold while I focus on healing. My hope is that one day I’ll be healthy enough to reopen my doors and get back to doing what I love most.
To every client who supported me over the years, trusted me with your beloved pets, recommended my business, prayed for me, or simply encouraged me along the way—thank you. Your kindness and loyalty have meant more than you’ll ever know.
This isn’t the ending I wanted, but I’m holding on to hope that it’s only a pause. I appreciate your understanding, your patience, and your continued prayers as I focus on getting better.
