And just like that… our last Teddy’s Litter baby has gone home. 🤎
Ted was always going to be a hard one for me to say goodbye to. She was the first girl born in this litter, and from the moment I saw her, I knew she would be the one to carry the name Teddy. Because of that, I think there was always just a little something extra special about her to me.
But if I had to choose the kind of home I wanted for this girl, this would be it.
Annie made the drive from Illinois with her son to finally meet Ted and take her home. She lost her Boxer a little over a year ago, and instead of rushing to fill that space, she gave herself time to grieve, waited until she was ready, and waited for the right puppy to come along.
And somehow, that puppy ended up being our Ted. ❤️
I think these two are going to be so good for each other. Ted is a girl who LOVES attention. She wants to be with her person, she wants the love, she wants the snuggles, and she is absolutely going to soak up having that one-on-one attention from Annie. Knowing Ted’s personality the way I do, that’s one of the biggest reasons I feel like she landed exactly where she was supposed to.
I couldn’t be happier with where Ted landed.
Teddy’s Litter is officially all home. 🥹
This litter will forever hold such a special place in my heart because of the meaning behind it. And saying goodbye to the little girl who carried Teddy’s name feels like the perfect, bittersweet ending to this chapter.
8.22.26 🕊️ The day you left us, Teddy’s Litter arrived. I’ll never believe that timing was just a coincidence. Rest easy in doggy heaven, Aunt Ted. 🤍
