Our hearts are very heavy this week. Preston crossed the rainbow bridge over the weekend after his cancer returned very suddenly and aggressively. Our sweet boy was so loved right until the end 💔🌈

To know Preston was to love him. It was impossible to pass by without having a huge smile on your face. In fact, that was the majority of our walks- people stopping us on the street to admire him, and I could never blame anyone for doing so.

Preston was rescued through and received fantastic care from the oncology team at .angell
Please consider making a donation to help more dogs like him ❤️

Hi frens! Please join me in welcoming our newest team member, Simon! A little about him:

“Hi! My name is Simon, and I’m so excited to be joining the West End Walkers team! I am currently a 4th year medical student at Tufts and will be going into family medicine residency come July! I’ve found a little free time around residency interview season and am using it to make some new friends (of the dog and cat variety). I grew up outside of Boston and have had dogs my whole life, first a beagle named Picabo, then a Cockapoo named Pennie, and now, a Jack Russell mix named Puck. Notice a trend? My wife and I have a cat named Benedict, Benny for short, and he loves a good chin scratch! Can’t wait to walk your dog!“

Simon will provide some much needed relief over the next month and is going to be a great temporary addition to our team!

Welcome to the WEW pack, Bananas!! 🍌😍 How adorable is this sweet girl!? She’s a two year old golden retriever who has officially stolen our hearts!

Happy Monday, frens! Let’s start this week off by welcoming our newest WEW pack member, Juno! This adorable boy is 3 years old and was part of a massive rescue mission by the and to rehome over 4000 Beagles that were bred and held for research. Despite having a rough start to life, Juno is the sweetest and happiest boy. He’s been loving his pack walks and meeting new friends! We’re so lucky to have him!!!

This is a stark reminder that animal testing/research is alive and well in the United States. Thankfully, the Envigo facility where Juno came from was shut down by the government and ordered to pay a $35 million fine for neglect 👏👏👏
