🐾 Meet Zoe — Our Spicy Little Shih Tzu

Zoe is about 7 years old and full of personality.
She’s a classic shih tzu with a cute face, a big attitude, and a whole lot of opinions about how the world should work. Zoe can be nippy and snappy, especially with new people or when she feels unsure.

She’ll need an adopter who understands that some dogs need time, patience, and structure to feel safe. The right person will go slow, set boundaries, and let Zoe settle in at her own pace. The good news? Zoe is very treat‑motivated, which makes training and trust‑building much easier.

Once she decides you’re her person, she’ll show you her sweet side — but she needs someone willing to put in the work to get there.

Zoe should go to a home with no young kids, and ideally someone experienced with small dogs who have a little spice.

If you’re the kind of person who loves a project pup with a big personality, Zoe might be your girl.

THANK YOU for the name suggestions of our little tiny kittens. We decided on Pumpkin, Smores and Autumn. We will save the other names though, it was hard to choose!

Unfortunately, little Smores crossed the Rainbow Bridge earlier this morning. These kittens came to us sickly, eyes matted shut, and skinny. Even though they were vet checked and we were treating with antibiotics and other meds, his little body couldn't hang on.

Kittens can be a challenge sometimes and no matter what we do, sometimes it still isn't enough. We are so broken hearted. We have lost kittens before and we feel defeated. We take each loss hard, cat and dog because we try so hard to give them a second chance.

Rest Easy little Smores, you were loved. 💔🐾🌈
