"Ancora Imparo"…
… "I am still learning"
This sentiment of this quote, most frequently attributed to Michelangelo upon his completion of the Sistine Chapel, represents the spirit of never-ending self improvement that guides the purpose of Ancora Imparo Equine Center. Ancora Imparo Equine Center (AIEC) is the embodiment of my vision of what a boarding facility should b
e. It is a positive, progressive, always-improving work in progress. As knowledge grows, how we do things may change. A never-ending commitment to learning, implementing improvements, and helping others do the same. Both humans and horses do better, when their needs are met! Part of this growth has included evolving our mission to include therapeutic programming. We are thrilled to host a number of different talented professionals who offer their services here! About the Owner, Stacia Langille:
My life has led me through many paths, with well over two decades of equine industry professional experience; first as an instructor and trainer, and as a farrier since 2009. I have spent time in many different equestrian settings in a variety of roles, and the insight I have gained during this time is reflected in the spirit of excellence and inclusion that I pride myself on at AIEC. My current work is multifaceted, and includes continuing to enjoy my professional life with my farrier practice while developing Ancora Imparo Equine Center (AIEC) as a showcase of premier care. As AIEC has evolved to include hosting therapeutic programming, I have been diligently working to complete my graduate education and licensure in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. As the owner of a therapeutic facility, I believe it is critically important that I have training in a helping profession. You likely haven’t seen me around much, but as graduation nears, that will be changing! It is vitally important to me that the programming I host is Trauma Informed and Neurodivergent Affirming. I am unabashedly social justice advocacy oriented, and want everyone who visits here to know that I am personally and professionally committed to spaces that are safe for intersectional and marginalized identities. I strive to create an atmosphere of multicultural awareness, and it is imperative that all members of our community respect these values. If there are any questions or concerns, please contact Stacia at 603-731-3144 or [email protected]. I can’t fix things I don’t know about, and your feedback is incredibly valuable!
