Schnapps has a "unique" personality, I guess that would be the best way to describe him.

Schnapps came to the sanctuary from a German Shepherd Rescue in Maryland. Originally found as a stray he struggled to adapt to a life in a home setting.

Schnapps is now around 7-8 years old, he is a big boy but that size is important as he needs so much space to fit all his stubbornness. He was originally a dog we were hoping to pull but we were not given the permission to do so, which means Schnapps is another dog who will call the sanctuary home.

Don't worry he has a ridiculous amount of actual toys but for some reason he keeps making his way back to this board. 🤣

Yesterday we worked on filling the holes between Probe and Stitches run so that Buster can come back to the sanctuary from Linda's home.

Although he is enjoying some extra attention all the dogs at Linda's house do make him a little nervous so we believe he will be happier back in his old kennel.

With Buster being so small we were concerned about him shimmying over to Stitches kennel. With the anti dig panels that were donated we were able to fix the holes we were worried about.

Stitch was such a great supervisor and made sure we stopped to give him the thanks he deserved for all his hard work.

2 down 1 to go 😅

I (Amber 1) am leaving for the day before Amber 2 and Linda's luck rubs off on me.

I also watched this video and laughed at Amber an unhealthy amount of times, I have no idea why she's my friend 😂🤣

** Hi everyone, Linda here. I just want to be clear with everyone that what happened today, did not happened at the sanctuary, it happened at my house, with the sanctuary pack I have here. Thank you everyone for the well wishes and checking up on me. I appreciate every one of you.

it wasn't for bad luck ....

Well the morning started off a little rough after a dog fight broke out which resulted in a bite and a broken finger. "Light duty" for Linda which is seemingly impossible but we will push her to do her best at healing properly. This is why we would love nothing more then to be able to hire staff for situations such as this. Any donations are so beneficial to us in our hopes of one day being able to get the full time help we need.

With Linda being down for the count today at the ER we weren't able to work on the intended runs but did get to take out Lady and Dexter for their first official walks. Dexter did recently go to the vet but a relaxing walk is much more pleasant.

Lady loved the water and both were so well behaved given the limited interaction we have really had with them outside of their kennels.

After the owner of a Lewis County animal sanctuary died, his niece was left to care for 135 dogs. Now, she's asking for help.

Today Maverick and Sixx had their kennels extended. We couldn't go as big as we wanted and a few extra feet might not seem like much but to these dogs who call it home, it's everything...

***We will be having a mechanic come check out the trucks to see if we can get them running this week. If not they will be sold as is.***

**We are selling these items to help with funds for the sanctuary. We don't have the resources to transport them anywhere.**

We have some vehicles and other items we are looking to get rid of. We are unable to really assess a value of the vehicles as we do not know what problems they each have. They were sitting on the property when Linda took over and we are really trying to clean up which means getting rid of the things we do not use/need. We are looking for the best offer and not to get taken advantage of.

The bucket truck we were told needed a starter but has been sitting on the property for years, the inside is beginning to rot out.

The box truck we do not know what the issue is with that.

There is a fuel storage tank and ALOT of scrap metal that we will take a donation for. (As long as we aren't getting taken advantage of)

Please comment or message the sanctuary FB page if interested in anything here.
