🥞 Waffle House and Homefry have already found their person in each other. Now they’re hoping to find a home together. 💚

Waffle House is a big, loving tabby who enjoys food, pets, and brushing. Homefry is his tiny counterpart, less than half his size, with a love for cozy beds and naps. They came to us together, and the way they seek each other out makes it clear just how much their friendship means to them.

These sweet seniors deserve a place where they can settle in side by side, share the sunny spots, and spend their golden years with the friend who has been there all along. Adopting them together would mean neither has to start this next chapter alone.

Both are gentle cats who become more confident once they feel at home. Waffle House is FIV+ and needs to live indoors. He and Homefry get along beautifully.

Meet Dart, a sweet pup who is just the “perfect size” for adventures, cuddles, and everything in between!

Dart can be a little shy when meeting new people, so he needs a patient family willing to give him time to settle in and help build his confidence.

He appears to do well with dogs, cats, and children, although respectful older kids would likely be the best fit for his gentler personality. With patience, encouragement, and plenty of love, Dart is sure to become a wonderful and devoted companion.

Whew… we are tired, but our hearts are full! 🐾💙

Yesterday was an incredibly busy and successful day, starting with the Second Chance Strut 5K and continuing with Rescue Reunion!

A huge thank-you to our 5K sponsors, Las Margaritas, Show-Me Veterinary Imaging, MFA Oil, Columbia Honda, and Stephens College, along with our fitness partner, Simple Solutions Fitness.

We are also so grateful to Mid Mo Dog Boarding, our Platinum Sponsor for Rescue Reunion, for helping make the event possible!

Thank you to all our vendors, volunteers, runners, walkers, adopters, fosters, supporters, and four-legged friends who joined us. We loved spending such a fun-filled day celebrating second chances with you!
