We also do have some boarding availability for Labor Day weekend, if anyone is having some trouble finding a dog nanny!🐾❤️

There’s another side of the Mid Mo Dog Boarding family that many of you may not know about.

When we aren’t busy caring for your dogs, you can often find our family at home caring for a whole different assortment of animals! 🐐🐓

We recently spent a BIG chunk of time at the Missouri State Fair showing livestock as a family. It’s something we truly love—not just because of the ribbons, but because of the memories, lessons, hard work, early mornings, late nights, and time together that come along with it.

And we’re pretty proud to say all that work paid off! This year our family showed well with all our animals but excelled with our Kinder goats and brought home:

As proud as we are of those accomplishments, we also came home feeling incredibly grateful for something else: Our Dirty Hairy's team.

Being able to step away from the business for an extended period of time and know that the dogs in our care were still being loved and cared for the way we expect is something we don’t take for granted. Our staff kept everything running while we were off chasing kids, animals and ribbons around the fairgrounds.

So while we’re sharing a few proud fair moments, we also want to give a HUGE thank you to the Dirty Hairy's crew who made it possible for our family to have them.

I’m excited to share and announce our new General Manager Dezirae will be starting next week!

Hello everyone!
My name is Dezirae I’m originally from Sacramento California!
I came to Missouri almost 6 years ago to study Equestrian Science at William woods!
I have 2 frenchies and a pitbull mix! Along with 3 ponies that I have been training myself to be jumpers!😊
I love all animals so so much, they are all so special in their own way and I am so so excited to start my journey at Dirty Hairy’s!🐶🐾
I can’t wait to meet everyone next Monday!😆

In case you haven’t already heard, my time here at Dirty Hairy’s is coming to a close at the end of the week. I couldn’t be more grateful for the people and pets who have helped shape the last almost two years of my life.

When I finished up my internship and didn’t know where I would go next, I reached out to Jacob to see if there was any chance he would add me back to the Creekside team. What I got instead was an incredible opportunity to build a new community in a city I had never been to, help support an already thriving business while leading a big change, and get back to doing something I already knew I loved.

To every client who trusted me and my staff with your pets, thank you. It has been such a privilege to be a small part of their lives, whether they came for daycare, boarding, or grooming. To my amazing staff, thank you for all of your hard work, dedication, and the countless laughs we've shared along the way. I truly couldn't have asked for a better team to work alongside. And to every pet that walked through our doors, thank you for making every day a little brighter and reminding me why I chose to work with animals in the first place.

While I may be stepping down from my position at Dirty Hairy’s, I’m not going far. My own pets have found a second home here, and I can’t imagine not seeing some of my favorite people (and pets!) again.

As I start this next chapter back in veterinary medicine, I’ll always be thankful for everything Dirty Hairy’s has given me. Thank you all for making these last almost two years so special. As a parting gift, enjoy some of my favorite photos I've taken during my time here❤️
