Our trip to the 2026 Master Amateur Invitational in Maddison, WI didn’t disappoint. Aquarius Storms A Coming At South Mountain “Gemma” worked through a tough 6 series test to earn her first Plate at a National Event!
We couldn’t have done it without all the support over the years. Beth Leggett Sokohl for keeping me in the game 5 years ago when I wanted to quit, Kathy Sneider for handing Gemma off to me after loosing a litter, Trish Jagoda and Mary Harding for letting me tag along in training, Kevin McLaren for putting up with me pretending to be a “field trailer” with the big dogs, Freddie Perini and Christine Reynolds for always including me in their adventures, Julie Hilgenberg my cheerleader from afar, Jeremy Barkdoll and CJ Saunders for keeping my truck on the road, AND especially for my family Earl Griffith, McCall Griffith Taggart and Ken Taggart, Braxton Griffith and Maddy Oberholzer (she’s a keeper) for taking care of the homestead and each other while Gemma and I are away earning ribbons and plates. It truly does take a village to accomplish such a feat !!!!
