We are a non-profit charitable organization dedicated to providing shelter and care to animals in need in Watauga County, NC. Our shelter is located at 312 Paws Way, Boone, NC 28607, just off the intersection of Old 421 and Don Hayes Road. We have facilities for the housing and care of stray dogs, cats, and small animals. We provide food, shelter, medical care, and lots of love to all our animals

If sniffing the ground was a job, McChicken would be the boss. 🐕 Funny name, you say. McChicken🍗 became a local celebrity when half the county was trying to get him off the streets in late July. What finally coaxed him to be brought in? You guessed it- A McChicken! 🍟

This 3-year-old stud lives to play, has lots of energy, and is very treat motivated. McChicken has a big personality, and is looking to brighten someone’s days with it. 💚

A little birdie told us that Raven is looking for her furever home! 🐦She is the most lovable little girl at just 7-years-young who loves to join in all the fun during playtime and all the cuddles during movie-time. 🎬We've had a great Summer with Raven, but we know she'd love to spend Fall🍁, and the rest of her seasons, with her new human.
