🐾This week is National Veterinary Technician Week, and we wanted to take the time to recognize our medical staff. Hansen, RVT, and Hannah do incredible work day-in and day-out. Without them and the support of our community, we couldn't help all the pets we do each year. 🐾
From treating common rashes to doing more serious medical procedures, our medical team keeps every animal safe, happy, and comfortable during their stay with us before finding their forever homes, and we couldn't be more grateful. 🌟
To Hansen, Hannah, all the Vet Techs in our community, and those beyond our reach, thank you for all the work you do!🐶🐈

Bonus: Hannah and Hansen are fun and hilarious gals who wanted to make you smile with this post. Throwing it back to the JC Penny Style photo shoots was a given for us today 😂

We’re making our dogs’ day today by having walks and pup cups! You can still come do a dog walk today until we close to help us celebrate National Make a Dog’s Day Day! 🐾

Our community shows up for the dogs who are looking for their forever homes, and we’re very grateful for that. ❤️

Thanks to Modern Subaru of Boone and Subaru Loves Pets, we’re able to have fun this spooky season 👻 and have adoption specials all of October! 🎃

Dash-of-Cinnamon and Dudley are a bonded pair who have become true socialites at Watauga Humane Society! 🐶 As 10-year-old brothers, D&D love being with each other. They’ve spent their whole lives together, and need to go to their next home together as well. ❤️ They love sitting in the stroller together, getting treated like royalty, and spending quality time lounging in the sun. ☀️ As a bonus, they’re both cutie-pies!!

They deserve a comfortable home to spend their golden years in 💛 Come see them and let them show you how awesome they still are!

🥐Dash-of-Cinnamon is being sponsored by Lauren Griffin in memory of Charles Conrad Griffin🥐 🧇Dudley is being sponsored by Chip Bailey🧇 Thank you both for your sponsorships of these sweet brothers!!

Meet R***r 🍁 He is a lovable, puppy-eyed 1-year-old boy who loves playing outside, learning to new tricks, and to be loved on. When he came in, R***r was scared, especially when it came to being inside his kennel. He’s come out of his shell some, and has rewarded our care with puppy kisses and laughs due to his goofiness! 🤎

We think you’d be lucky to have R***r. Come see him anytime between 12:30 & 5:00PM Tuesday-Saturday. He’s available for just $17 until Saturday!! 🤎🌟

This is Oliver, otherwise known as Lil Pump-ke-mon! 🎃 He is 4-years-old and greatly resembles the lasagna-loving Garfield. 🐈 While Oliver is currently in a foster home, he is still available for adoption during our $17 adoption special until Saturday! 🧡

Oliver is sweet & loving, loves to cuddle, and is spectacular with other cats but needs to only eat Urinary Care food, and trust us, he wants to eat ALL the food. 🥘 Oliver is hoping to find a furever home that’ll love him unconditionally like he would his new owners! He’s wonderful with other fur-babies, children, and truly enjoys companionship. 🐾

🧶Oliver is being sponsored by Laura Benezra in memory of Luna Belle🧶 What an honorable way to remember your loved ones. Thank you so much for your sponsorship!
