How do you tire your dogs out in this heat? We walk very early and plan enrichment activities like lick mats and puzzles. Remember, in this heat, concrete can reach as high as 140 degrees. Protect your furry friends by early or late walks and stick to grassy areas. Provide lots of shade and water. And stay inside during the hottest part of the day. ❤️🐾☀️

Every day, we face the unimaginable pain of turning away dogs who are abandoned, homeless, and at risk of being euthanized because we simply don’t have the resources to save them. It breaks our hearts knowing these are not just numbers—they are lives. Lives that deserve love, care, and a chance at happiness.

Every time we’ve asked for help, you—our incredible community—have responded with overwhelming generosity. We are humbled beyond words. But today, we need you more than ever. The number of dogs left behind is crushing, and we are struggling to keep up financially. Many of them come to us with severe medical issues, ones we know we can treat, but only with your continued support.

Northwest Boxer Rescue (NWBR) is entirely run by volunteers, and every single dollar you donate goes directly to the care of these dogs. We are at a breaking point, and we are asking from the bottom of our hearts—please, help us save them.
