Hello, it’s been brought to my attention that some people don’t like that I don’t always have long periods of time to chit chat at pick up or drop off about life and other things when I am in the middle of my work day… I do apologize for this. I also really don’t have time when you are already late to your appointment & want to hangout some and chit chat… I do my best to answer any questions, concerns or anything else anyone may have but I can’t find time we already lost with you not being on time to your appointment. Then when it comes to my personal life or extra things I don’t have endless time to always stop and catch up, as the longer I talk, the longer it takes me to get started on your dog, or get back to work on the pup I’m working on during the time you come to pick up. Which then means I work later & that’s more time out of my day away from my kids & family & other things I have to do outside of my work day. I LOVE having relationships with my customers, as many have become genuine friends & family to my kids and I. BUT I do have to work during my work hours, so I apologize if that comes off ever as rushed or that I don’t have the time of day to always get in the nitty gritty of things. Every person that I stop and chat with in a day can add up quickly & sometimes I don’t have the time or bandwidth to do it & I’m sorry if that makes you feel bad, those are never my intentions. I wish I had all the time in the world to hangout and talk instead of work, but I haven’t won the lottery yet & have bills to pay. I am thankful for each & every one of you & your support for my business & my family! I hope you all understand it’s nothing personal! 🫶🏼

A few friendly reminders because things have gotten a little out of hand lately….

Please bring your dog on a leash AND OUT OF MY GARDENS! If your dog can’t refrain from entering my gardens then they need to be on a leash. Do not let them go to the end of retractable one & wonder wherever they want in my flower beds…. It’s gotten way out of hand and I’m sick of having to sweep my garden dirt back in due to people not respecting my home.

PICK UP AFTER YOUR DOG. I provide bags for those who don’t come with bags, even though I recommend alway having bags in your car for when you travel with your dogs so if you ever have to stop and let them go potty you can pick up after them like a responsible pet owner. There’s no reason when I even spend my own money on bags for those who don’t bring them, that you can’t pick up after your own dog when you are present & it’s in the front yard. Obviously when they are with me when I groom them or they hangout then I will take care of it, but my front yard and you being there is different.

The 10 weeks MAX between appointments policy is a non negotiable. So remember to pre book a few weeks before your ten weeks max if you like to push it to the full window you have, as I have a week this month & next I will be out, as well as end of July, beginning of August & then a week in the middle of August I will already be out for. So make sure you plan accordingly! I will post what exact dates I’ll be closed for those once I know one more final date so you can hopefully plan accordingly as well.

If you have multiple dogs down for nails or grooming, not showing up with all of them when they are booked, is still considered a no show for the ones you didn’t bring & I will start charging accordingly, even if you still bring the others. What’s on the schedule is what YOU booked and all expected to show unless discussed otherwise. Not telling me & showing up without all those that are booked is not okay.

Being on time is important. 15 minutes or more late WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED & will be a FULL NO SHOW with needing to reschedule.

As well as I CLOSE BY 4pm promptly. So all dogs must be gone NO LATER than that time, unless discussed PRIOR to the day of service, as I have things I need to do after work with my kids. Too many are coming after 5 & 6 with zero communication & it’s not okay.

Check the price post from the beginning of the year to make sure you are paying to correct amount, I will be strictly enforcing price changes. Also payments are due at time of pick up from now on, those who say they’ll pay when they get home have taken advantage of it & I will no longer allow it. Which is a bummer because those who have been doing that are those I’m closest with so I allowed to let it be a thing & no longer will.

Again, as stated in the original post Nails, Glands, Ears, are included in full grooming services as they always have been. I only have them listed separately for those who don’t get their dogs groomed and come for JUST those services. 🙂

Your dog may be spot on at the price in that category, or may be just above it. Each dog & case varies by sizes, coat styles, and what is requested to be done!

Nails, glands & ears ARE INCLUDED in haircut AND bath & tidy pricing, not extra! Those prices are for those who JUST get that done & not grooming 🙂

Also I am working on contracts come the New Year due to some who have abused my kindness & my business. I apologize to those that have always been great, but for the. Best interest of my business & family I have to do contracts across the board for what the policies are, as well as working on getting a system set up to have everyone save a card on file for no shows & such so those who do that can’t just skip it & call it a day anymore! When you miss an appointment without calling or texting ahead of time it leaves NO time to fill that spot, and is an extra blown when you no show with multiple dogs… remember that is money planned for MY FAMILY.. if you don’t show, I don’t make anything & when it’s a complete no show I don’t have the time to fill your spot that someone else would’ve taken. You leave me high and dry, so with that being said you will owe full price of your missed appointment. I do my job to make money for my family, yes I love my job, but at the end of the day it’s what I use to pay bills and support my kids. Please respect that. Thank you!
