Hello everyone!!

MEET DOZER!!

Hoping to find the perfect fit for this boy!!

Here’s what the family says about him;

Dozer is an almost 8yr old, 85lb mixed doodle with maremma. He’s very sweet and loves to be with his people.

He is used to being in a crate at times but it’s not routine for him so it takes a couple times before he settles in. He also is sometimes used to going on a “place bed”. Would want a home where being in a crate isn’t his normal day to day for hours. He wants to be at your feet and watching his environment. He is a big dog that loves to play outside. He currently lives on an acre yard so he has room to run around, play in trees and sniff to his hearts content. He is high energy and loves to play but is also happy to chill/sleep at your feet for hours. He doesn’t go on leashed walks often but LOVES them and would love more. He loves the car as well. He likes to dig in exposed dirt/dirt piles. He can be anxious entering vet but doesn’t need a muzzle or anything and is happy to see people/get pets. He is good with cats and female dogs. I couldn’t say if he’s good with other types of animal as we don’t know. He is not good with our other male dog. They get into fights which is the primary cause for rehoming. It appears to be typically over high reward/desired things such their primary person and the car. Our guess is a dominance/alpha thing. Both have been unaltered until recently. So hopefully being fixed helps that as well. Has not lived in a home with young kids, has been exposed sometimes to them on short occasions and has been fine. He will bark at new people coming onto the property/in his home. But then he will greet them kindly.

Dozer has been recently neutered. He is up to date on all of his shots. He is chipped as well.

HEY EVERYONE!!
Okay, got a new booking system today, so bare with me while I send upcoming appointments new links with a waiver to sign & a card to save on file! I’m doing this across the board to make things much smoother! If you don’t receive one, don’t be alarmed! I have to manually add EVERYONE individually…. So I’m doing the next month of appointments booked, then will go as people book their next appointments! You will only have to sign the waivers & enter your card information to save on your profile the first initial time! After that we will book per usual! There may be some hiccups while I’m also learning along the way, so please bear with me through this!!! Thank you all for your love & support always! 🫶🏼

Happy Monday!

Reminder when you schedule multiple dogs for grooming, you can’t just show up with one & assume the other isn’t a no show. Each dog has their own slot, not family. If you show up without all the dogs you have scheduled you WILL be charged for the dog you didn’t bring still. If you don’t pay the missed appointment fee, I will not take the other dogs & will no longer be able to keep you on the books until the missed appointments are paid. Thanks for understanding!

Over the last two days I’ve had four people miss their appointments… 1 family of THREE dogs, 1 family of TWO, & 2 families of one dog…. Out of all of those, only one dogs missed appointment was covered…. That’s SIX dogs I had budgeted for & scheduled time for and held for families that didn’t show I could’ve filled with other appointments. When you no show, I don’t make any money… you leave no time to fill the spot you had held and missed, which really sucks. Then when you don’t want to pay for your missed appointment it leaves me out the money I planned for my family. I love my job, and I love what I do, but it’s my JOB to support my family…. When you no show a service industry person you leave them high and dry. Which really sucks. You may not think your one missed appointment is a big deal, but it is for the person you leave hanging.. each slot adds up… 6 missed spots in two days is a huge blow. Definitely feeling defeated today. I will not be rescheduling any appointments for anyone who doesn’t pay for their previously missed appointments, hope you all understand. As always, thanks for the support and love of my family! 🫶🏼

HEADS UP; I will be taking some time off this month; as well as some next month & beginning of November for family things & McKinley’s medical appointments in Minnesota we have to attend. I have already adjusted allot that are already pre-booked, and am reaching out to the last ones I need to move today.. BUT with that being said prebooking will be super important currently between these needed times off & the holidays quickly approaching! Which will also be important with keeping within the 10 weeks max windows with the time I’ll have to be away! Thank you for your understanding as always & support for my family, especially little miss!! 🫶🏼🫶🏼

Reminder I’m having to be out for several different weeks this summer going into September! So pre-booking will be essential, especially for those that push the ten weeks max policy!! I won’t have much flexibility, hopefully everyone sees this since it’s my 3rd one as a heads up for everyone! ☀️

Here’s your reminder to book your appointments this summer to stay within my policy timeframes! I will have a couple weeks on and off this summer that I will be unavailable with my family! So make sure you get yourself booked asap to avoid falling out of the the max allotted time guidelines between grooming appointments! ☺️🫶🏼

Hello, it’s been brought to my attention that some people don’t like that I don’t always have long periods of time to chit chat at pick up or drop off about life and other things when I am in the middle of my work day… I do apologize for this. I also really don’t have time when you are already late to your appointment & want to hangout some and chit chat… I do my best to answer any questions, concerns or anything else anyone may have but I can’t find time we already lost with you not being on time to your appointment. Then when it comes to my personal life or extra things I don’t have endless time to always stop and catch up, as the longer I talk, the longer it takes me to get started on your dog, or get back to work on the pup I’m working on during the time you come to pick up. Which then means I work later & that’s more time out of my day away from my kids & family & other things I have to do outside of my work day. I LOVE having relationships with my customers, as many have become genuine friends & family to my kids and I. BUT I do have to work during my work hours, so I apologize if that comes off ever as rushed or that I don’t have the time of day to always get in the nitty gritty of things. Every person that I stop and chat with in a day can add up quickly & sometimes I don’t have the time or bandwidth to do it & I’m sorry if that makes you feel bad, those are never my intentions. I wish I had all the time in the world to hangout and talk instead of work, but I haven’t won the lottery yet & have bills to pay. I am thankful for each & every one of you & your support for my business & my family! I hope you all understand it’s nothing personal! 🫶🏼

A few friendly reminders because things have gotten a little out of hand lately….

Please bring your dog on a leash AND OUT OF MY GARDENS! If your dog can’t refrain from entering my gardens then they need to be on a leash. Do not let them go to the end of retractable one & wonder wherever they want in my flower beds…. It’s gotten way out of hand and I’m sick of having to sweep my garden dirt back in due to people not respecting my home.

PICK UP AFTER YOUR DOG. I provide bags for those who don’t come with bags, even though I recommend alway having bags in your car for when you travel with your dogs so if you ever have to stop and let them go potty you can pick up after them like a responsible pet owner. There’s no reason when I even spend my own money on bags for those who don’t bring them, that you can’t pick up after your own dog when you are present & it’s in the front yard. Obviously when they are with me when I groom them or they hangout then I will take care of it, but my front yard and you being there is different.

The 10 weeks MAX between appointments policy is a non negotiable. So remember to pre book a few weeks before your ten weeks max if you like to push it to the full window you have, as I have a week this month & next I will be out, as well as end of July, beginning of August & then a week in the middle of August I will already be out for. So make sure you plan accordingly! I will post what exact dates I’ll be closed for those once I know one more final date so you can hopefully plan accordingly as well.

If you have multiple dogs down for nails or grooming, not showing up with all of them when they are booked, is still considered a no show for the ones you didn’t bring & I will start charging accordingly, even if you still bring the others. What’s on the schedule is what YOU booked and all expected to show unless discussed otherwise. Not telling me & showing up without all those that are booked is not okay.

Being on time is important. 15 minutes or more late WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED & will be a FULL NO SHOW with needing to reschedule.

As well as I CLOSE BY 4pm promptly. So all dogs must be gone NO LATER than that time, unless discussed PRIOR to the day of service, as I have things I need to do after work with my kids. Too many are coming after 5 & 6 with zero communication & it’s not okay.

Check the price post from the beginning of the year to make sure you are paying to correct amount, I will be strictly enforcing price changes. Also payments are due at time of pick up from now on, those who say they’ll pay when they get home have taken advantage of it & I will no longer allow it. Which is a bummer because those who have been doing that are those I’m closest with so I allowed to let it be a thing & no longer will.
