My latest review :
Ruben and I contacted Bob, (Dog mentalist) approximately 6 weeks ago. At that time, we had been having major issues with our rescue dog biting my husband. When we described the issue to Bob, he knew right away what we needed to do. He gave us quite a bit of homework of which we did, i.e.: start working with Shaggy doing puppy push-ups, recommending we read Inside of a Dog and How Dogs Think. We communicated with Bob once a week to give him our progress and updates, throughout the week we would send him videos of our interaction with Shaggy. By the second week of training Shaggy, he mastered the puppy push-ups. YAY! Once we got through that, now Bob recommended interactive treat puzzles of which we bought and slowly but surely Shaggy progressed from beginning level to Advanced level with the following three weeks. During these three weeks Bob also highly recommended that we play ball with Shaggy and most importantly to get a DNA test to see if he was indeed what we thought he was. By week five we got the results back and indeed he was 100% pure bread, of which that explained a lot of his traits and quirks. We contacted Bob and mentioned that we were having an issue with Shaggy walking on a leash without trying to attack every dog he encountered. Once again Bob came through and suggested that we distract him, move him form the incoming dogs and praise and reward him for not barking. Voila, it worked:) Today I am so happy to say that Shaggy has no longer bitten, has learned how to not bark and how to walk on a leash. Most importantly he has turned into a great dog because of Bob's help and recommendations.
