It was quite a day celebrating our new bus with David Portnoy - El Presidente Miss Peaches!! Thanks everyone who came out today, thank you DELLA Auto Group and the Saratoga Chamber.
Our new bus has completed 7 round trip transports since its maiden voyage on Jan 1. We’ve adopted out close to 300 dogs from
this bus. It’s an absolute blessing.

This 2-year-old sweetheart is ready to find the forever home she deserves. Red Robin has a gentle, loving personality and would make an incredible companion. One of the things that makes her so special is how wonderfully she interacts with puppies—she’s patient, playful, and nurturing, almost like an aunt to the younger dogs.
Red Robin loves spending time with her people, whether she’s exploring the world on a walk or relaxing by your side. Sweet, affectionate, and easy to love, she’s ready to fill her forever home with loyalty, companionship, and plenty of tail wags. 🐾💕

So ... Momma T here, at 1pm on a hot and muggy Saturday ... I am not sure who might be on social media to see this ... but my fingers are crossed the right people will see it!

Currently in Florida we are using the fast kill heartworm treatment on FOURTEEN dogs. We had many generous donors to help make it happen and this is a HUGE step forward for these dogs to move on to a better life.

This treatment is hard on their body .. and risky during the first 30 days. It is a commandment from the treating vet that they stay kenneled and leash walked only.

Here's what I am begging for ... PLEASE consider coming to our farm and spending some time with these guys! We need humans to literally just sit with them in the AC to stay calm. We won't ask you to wash dishes or scoop p**p .. just come love on our dogs that are lonely and living on lock down. PLEASE don't say we are too far away ... we have 20 more days ... you can read a book with them... take a nap with them ... use it for a therapy session and talk over your pressing life decisions with them ... just come and be beside them!

Our heartworm treatment dogs are now 𝟵 𝗱𝗮𝘆𝘀 past their 𝙛𝙞𝙧𝙨𝙩 𝙞𝙣𝙟𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣. 💉 ❤️

Before beginning treatment, each dog completed 𝟯𝟬 𝗱𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗱𝗼𝘅𝘆𝗰𝘆𝗰𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 and received a 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗶𝗻𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻. Doxycycline targets bacteria that live inside heartworms.🪱 By eliminating that bacteria🚫🦠, the heartworms are weakened, which helps reduce inflammation and potential complications as treatment progresses.

Over the next several days, some of these dogs may begin feeling the effects of treatment. It's not uncommon for them to be tired, uncomfortable, or have a decreased appetite as their bodies work through this important stage of recovery.🥺🐾❤️‍🩹

Because strict rest is critical during heartworm treatment, we're focused on keeping them as comfortable as possible while they spend extended periods confined to their kennels.

To help, we've added 𝙬𝙖𝙨𝙝𝙖𝙗𝙡𝙚 𝙘𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝙗𝙚𝙙𝙨, 𝙚𝙣𝙧𝙞𝙘𝙝𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙩𝙤𝙮𝙨, 𝙡𝙞𝙘𝙠 𝙩𝙤𝙮𝙨, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙗𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙗𝙧𝙤𝙩𝙝 to our 𝗔𝗺𝗮𝘇𝗼𝗻 𝘄𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁.🌠📝These items help keep our dogs comfortable, engaged, and mentally stimulated while they recover.🐕❤️
