Where are my aware wolves at?
*insert howls of enlightenment here*
Seriously though,
Meditation is absolutely worth exploring if you don’t already have a regular practice.
Beyond the well-known health benefits, like reduced anxiety, improved sleep, and lowered blood pressure, it has a beautiful way, over time, of bringing you home to yourself.
The world gets clearer.
You get clearer.
And gradually, you begin to untangle from layers of things you may have picked up in life without even realising.
We all carry some form of conditioning or trauma.
For me, meditation has been an incredible ally in gently working with rather than against these parts of myself.
It is more than healing, it’s remembering.
There’s a deeper intelligence within you, quiet and wise, that meditation can help you connect with.
It’s not about escaping the world,
it’s about seeing it, and yourself, with greater clarity, acceptance, love and compassion.
Meditation also shifts your brain waves from the beta state (our usual alert, thinking mode) into alpha and theta states, where creativity, insight, and intuition naturally flourish.
These are the states where you don’t spend hours solving problems… you receive easy, instant answers.
The place where art, ideas, and clarity often arrive unannounced, like gifts from something deeper.
So why not give it a try?
And if you already practice, I’d love you to share your experience below.
You never know who might be helped by a simple, encouraging comment.
Love always,
(we can choose it)
