For 36 days Buddy has woken up every morning hoping today might be the day someone comes to meet him. 😢
For 36 days, he has watched daycare and boarding dogs come and go.
For 36 days, he has been overlooked and we honestly don't understand why.
Buddy is 5 years old, neutered, up to date on vaccines and one of the sweetest, goofiest dogs we've had the privilege of knowing.
He loves walks, car rides, treats, soft blankets, and trips to the Farmer's market. He gets along beautifully with every dog he meets! But our favorite thing about Buddy....
The side eye. The way he stops dead in his tracks and stares at you with silent judgement while he decides if you're crazy or not. It makes us laugh every time 😆
Buddy doesn't know he's been waiting 36 days. He keeps wagging his tail, accepting each walk, treat, snuggle and love that he's offered. But he knows that the other dogs leave, and he doesn't. He doesn't understand why.
Somewhere out there, is a home looking for a loyal companion for walks, car rides, adventures and lazy days on the couch. Buddy is looking for them too.
