Valhalla Serenity Homestead Kangal & Alabai does not endorse, work with, or do business with Iron Kangals. We have never worked with, spoken to, or associated ourselves with this kennel prior to them stealing some photography of our dogs. This side shot was sent as an update of one of our pups and does not show his best features. It's a shame that other Kennels want to slander, and lie about another Kennel just to "make their dogs look better" as breeders we should help one another. Not lie, cheat, and steal other Kennels photos. How shameful.

Featured are some other photos of the pup shown, as well as siblings, and parents. Our dogs speak for themselves, and while Iron Kangals does have spectacular colors. We pride ourselves with doing the necessary Genetic testing, DNA testing, and Xrays to make sure we are providing top quality purebred dogs that will be healthy for years to come. No matter how pretty a pup is. If it later has genetic issues that were not screened for. Bad hips, knees, and elbows, or has not gone through the same or similar rigorous training and socialization as a VSH pup you may end up spending way more on vet bills, and heartbreak.

It is important to know that your pup and dog is healthy inside and out, and as always a "Confident Pup Makes A Confident Dog"!

My daughter raised these babies for the last almost 6mo and FINALLY they are laying her Rainbow 🌈 eggs! All she has wanted is to start her own Rainbow 🌈 Egg 🥚 business and finally as a 5yo young lady and after months of hard work and caring for her Pullets she is a success!

She will be selling Rainbow 🌈 Eggs 🥚 🪺 at the local farmers market this summer ☀️ so please support a young girls dream! She has watered, fed, cleaned, and even did the whole brooder herself! I'm such a proud mama!!!!

Should a working dog STAY on the farm 24/7? Here is my opinion....

As Livestock Guardian Dogs become increasingly popular there are many individuals who can't or won't train them up. Simply because they don't "believe" they should be treated as well as a pet. This is very harmful not only to the LGD but to the reputation of farmers, ranchers, and homesteaders. Just because they protect livestock that does not mean they should not have basic training and handling skills. No matter how amazing they are at their job without proper training the everyday LGD will become the next pitbull of America.

Wondering why we charge what we charge for a 5mo Chicken? Roo or hen. It costs on average $75-$100 to feed, house, and raise each chick. Selling chickens at 5mo we don't make a profit at all, so the next time you see a $75 chicken and think it's too much remember that farmer isn't even paying themselves minimum wage for their time, love, and dedication. We would have to sell each 5mo chicken for $150 or more just to pay ourselves $3hr for the care it takes to raise them for those 5 months. That would still only cover 25 hours of our time, love, and care.

These are the facts, and people who buy chickens and don't farm need to understand the value of their chickens.
