Wonderful news for our furry friends: we are now fully back in biz! Electricity, water, internet, and bus are all running normally as of today! We hope everyone was able to stay safe and warm through that wild ice storm, and we can’t thank those of you who checked in and sent donations/supplies enough!! We love you all and hope to see you soon! Stay safe!

Power finally restored this afternoon! There’s still so much to do to start the cleanup and repairs, and we are currently still without running water and iced in without 4WD, but we’ve got everyone moved back into the house, warm and cozy! If anyone needs to book, we’re here and open! We just can’t offer transport until the ice thaws on these back hills a bit. So thankful for everyone who reached out and helped us make it through this, especially for the line workers and volunteers here in Hickman county that worked, and continue to work their butts off out here in this mess! And the friends and clients of ours that brought supplies, sent donations, and checked in on us, we couldn’t have done this without you! You are our rock and WE LOVE YOU!!!

We are so excited to announce our dog suites are well under way! We have grown so much over the years, we decided we needed a special building where the dogs could take breaks during the day, make feeding time easier, and during our busiest times, do rotations so everyone can run and play in smaller groups. It will be fully insulated and climate controlled with its own HVAC system, have plumbing for a washer and dryer and tub for bathing, and a large window for lots of natural light and air flow on nice days. Don’t worry, we aren’t changing our open, family-style boarding and all the dogs will still be predominately in our home with us! This will just give them a comfy place to have some down time during the day if needed, and allow some of the smaller and older pups to have smaller groups to play with during those busy holidays! We can’t wait to decorate so each suite has its own homey touch!
