Kira's Pet Retreat, LLC We care for your furry family members by providing high-quality grooming and boarding for dogs & cats in a family atmosphere with loving, trained caretakers.

Set in the beautiful Bolivar countryside, with onsite owner, we provide your pet with loving care, whether they come and stay when you're away, for their bathing and haircutting needs, or for day care. We provide all-breed grooming (including cats!), and feature indoor/outdoor dog runs, outdoor play areas, and a separate cat room for our feline friends. Owner and groomer Kira Barb has spent over 34 years in pet care as a former veterinary technician & hospital manager, as well as a boarding/grooming business owner in the Bolivar area.

UPDATE: They all found homes in time for the family to go out of town. Congrats if you got one of these pups; mama is SO sweet!

A client is needing to find homes for these babies by this Thursday, and boy, are they adorable! Free to good homes, they’re Husky/Shepherd mixes, and mama is pictured last. They’re 7 weeks old and girls are: brown, black with white paws, and brown/black; the boy is definitely husky looking. Let us know if you’re interested, and we’ll give you the family’s number!

Happy Monday, everyone! We had a hot weekend for sure. We rely on quantity of times outside when the weather is dangerously hot or cold, rather than long periods out. My family and I spent a little too much time in the heat yesterday, taking care of dogs, mowing, trimming, repairing things and putting up more shade sails, but that’s what it takes! This week, someone will come out and start repairing dog runs that need it. You’ll notice a series of pics in there that are after hours when all is clean and quiet. I’m always telling people I wish they could come in at 9:00 pm and see how clean it is! 😆

We are way overdue to show you some of our cuties! Some were from Mother’s Day, a sprinkling from Memorial Day, and a few who are recent.
