We will be working by appointment now that deer season has closed. Although we will still be diligently working 50+ hours a week to make sure we get your mounts back as soon as possible, our hours will vary. We may have to pick up supplies one day which is quite a drive, or we may have personal errands, doctor appointments and so on. If if looks like its gonna rain all weekend we may take off a Tuesday and Wednesday to work our bees or our garden and work on Saturday and Sunday instead. Please just call before you drive out to make sure someone will be here. If youre out this way and were in the shop you know we will always welcome the visit(and talk your head off lol). We just want to try to make sure you dont waste a drive as we know some of you drive a good ways to get to us. Thank you!

We'll be doing one more round of European skull mounts this week. We need them in the shop by 4:00 Tuesday(1-13). After this date we won't be accepting anymore skulls for a few months due to our freezers being too full. What little space we have left will be to hold shoulder mount capes that will be brought in the next few weeks. We will still take a few shoulder mounts however, space is limited. Once we start mounting it will free up a little space and well be able to hold more.

European mounts are $80 for a clean skull, or $100 on a board.

With the close of the 2025/2026 deer season we just want to express our sincere thanks for supporting us this season. Whether it was by facebook post, a comment on someone else's post or by word of mouth we truely appreciated your referrals and we could not have been more humbled. Our customers have become our friends over the years and we make a few more every year! We will now begin getting the shop set back up to mount again. We still have room for a few more shoulder mounts, but our freezers are almost full. The turn around time on shoulder mounts right now is about September/October of next year. As always, it could be a little sooner but we are careful not to over promise on turnaround times. We do offer and expedite service(6-8week turnaround) for and extra $250. The additional fee is for overtime, we do expedites after hours. Frozen deer must be brought in on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday from this day on until the open of the 2026/2027 deer season.

We will only be excepting European skull mounts until the Monday after the juvenile hunt. After this date we will be cleaning up our back room and storing all our pots/cookers to make room to start mounting deer again. We do not have the freezer space to hold them until a later date. Please get them in the shop by Monday January 12th.

We will be available after 10 am until dark daily until the close of deer season. If no one is in the shop, just give us a call. We will be close by. After January 12th, we will go back to working by appointments.

Open and ready to go around 10 a.m. in the morning. Our freezers are filling up but we still have room for a few more. $600 for a regular shoulder mount, $100 deposit at drop off. European mounts are $100 and come on a custom board for hanging.

Turnaround Time

We average mounting around 300 (deer) a year. Most of those(around 90%) will be completed within a year of drop off date. We start mounting deer in February and mount 35-40 deer per month. So the sooner your deer is brought in the sooner youll get it back. We are a full-time time taxidermy shop and work 5+ days a week. Taxidermy is and art. We do our best to get your mounts back in a timely manner without compromising quality. We also mount bobcats, racoons, squirrels, and fox a few a month in with the deer. We are a small family business and take pride in our work. We do our best to keep you coming back!

Well be in the shop this Saturday and Sunday(6th & 7th) from 10 a.m. until about 2 hours after dark. Regular shoulder mounts are $600 with the exception of wall pedestal mounts and flag deer. $100 non-refundable deposit due at drop off. This covers immediate services rendered (skinning, fleshing, washing, all hide and antler prep required before freezing). Right now the turnaround time is about June/ July of 2026. However as more deer are brought in the time frame progresses. We do offer and expedite service. The cost is an extra $250. The $250 is for overtime, we mount these deer at night and on weekends so they dont interfere with our regular mounting schedule. We are unable to promise Christmas mounts at this time due to we already have several expedites to get ready in the upcoming weeks.

I stuck one of my d***s on here just to have a picture for “attention” as they say. This post is not meant to advertise for our business but to say THANK YOU to all of our many,many supporters for our little family business.
We spend some long and cold days in the shop skinning heads, fleshing and salting capes, and cleaning euro mounts, while making sure to spend time and visit with each of our friends while taking in their deer and trying our best to not miss a phone call or text.
At night after I get out of the shower and make sure I got all messages answered I began to check Facebook notifications. Every single night I try my best to personally Thank every single one that mentioned our name on a Facebook post. I always have the fear that I missed someone and I know that has bound to have happened. With that said, I want each and every one of our supporters, whether Facebook referrals or word of mouth to know just how much we appreciate you.
You can check out and a gas station or at the drive thru of a chicken joint and hear “thank you” but it doesn’t end there with us.
We TRULY THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts. Y’all are the SOLE reason that we have had a successful deer intake year after year and we don’t just know that, we FEEL and SEE THAT!
