🚨 NEW NO-SHOW POLICY — PLEASE READ 🚨
Due to the LARGE number of no-call, no-show appointments, we are officially implementing a new policy.
If you are a repeat no-show and you call us but receive no response, just know that you are blocked and we will no longer be calling you back or scheduling you at Bolivar Groom Room.
We absolutely understand that real emergencies happen. That is NOT what we are talking about. We are talking about people repeatedly making appointments, taking up spots on our schedule, and then simply not showing up or even bothering to call.
And before anyone thinks I’m exaggerating — in just THREE DAYS, we have had 9 appointments no-call, no-show. NINE.
That is not an emergency.
That is plain disrespect, and it is extremely costly to a small business.
And if you show up here with your “I’ve been calling and nobody will return my call” attitude, you will be treated with the same level of “respect” you showed us when you made an appointment and couldn’t be bothered to show up or call.
The temptation to post the names of repeat no-shows on Facebook is HUGE. That way all of the decent customers who patiently wait for their appointments can know exactly who is helping make their wait longer.
Every no-show is an appointment we could have given to someone else. It costs us money, wastes our time, and is exactly why small businesses eventually have to raise prices, require deposits, or stop scheduling certain people altogether.
And one more thing:
For those who read this and suddenly feel the need to message me with your lame excuse about why YOU didn’t show up — don’t bother. You will not receive a reply.
You already wasted enough of our time when you didn’t show up. You are not getting any more of mine.
You know who you are.
We will always understand genuine emergencies and work with customers who show us basic courtesy. But repeated disrespect is no longer something we are going to absorb as “part of doing business.”
