Hey, y’all— it’s General Manager Payton here.

I have worked at Dog Dayze for nearly seven years now. I have put together and come up with dozens of events and event days throughout the years but none have ever quite come close to the love I had for Dolly Dayze. I have always been a fan of Dolly but in recent years, I’ve become, like so many others across the world, completely enamored with her love, light, and positivity. Her music and wisdom has been such a blessing in my life. So much so that when we built the North Aurora location, I knew from the start my office there would be entirely Dolly themed. Hearing the news of her passing today has completely shattered me, but in many ways, I can’t help but just be grateful for the time we all had with her. Here’s a flashback to our Dolly Dayze event this past January, celebrating Dolly’s 80th birthday. Rest in Peace, Dolly 💖 Your magic and light even reached this little dog daycare. We will always love you 💖
