Working on waiting at the door with Lacie! Teaching her that when the door opens, she waits until she gets her release cue before going through. This is a great skill for building impulse control and helping dogs learn to pause instead of rushing through doors! 😊

Did you know you can train deaf dogs? Instead of using a verbal marker, we can use a visual marker, such as a thumbs up! 👍🏻 Here I’m charging the marker so she learns that a thumbs up means a treat is coming! ✨

And remember, no dog is too old to learn! 🥰
